Heh, so the wedding was crashed, no trashed. Like I said, sacrifices. Aura has made a huge one. But, so had everyone else. By saving our young meif'wa, they've put themselves in danger. Typical humans. Anywho, let's carry on, and reveal the affect of those sacrifices.

The guards finally stopped chasing. Aphmau's group continued for a minute, until sure their prosecutors were far behind. "I can teleport us home. But, first... what happened to Aura?!" Charlotte shouted, jumping off her horse. "She took a sword for me..." Laurence said, handing the small meif'wa down to Garroth who laid her gently on the ground. Charlotte grabbed Jade's pocket knife and cut away a large piece of fabric from the bottom of her dress. "Cadenza's gonna kill you..." Aphmau muttered. Charlotte quickly wrapped the wound, then stood. "Okay, hold hands, and touch the horses. I'll teleport us." Charlotte said. "Wait. I didn't know that was your power..." Jade said. "It isn't. I stole it from a guard there. Now, get ready." Charlotte said. Blue mist appeared, and swirled around them, and they were home. In the blink of an eye.

Time after that was a blur. Aura was unconscious most of the time, and nobody was allowed to visit her, anyways. Finally, Aura was awake most of the time, but still asked if nobody would visit her. She wanted to be alone. Finally, one night, Aura sat at the window of the tower looking out at the moon. All the medics had left, and Aura wasn't allowed to leave, due to her injury. Laurence saw her from the ground. Tonight... is the night. I'll tell her. He thought and started walking there. Laurence didn't care he wasn't supposed to go to her. Laurence climbed the ladder, and stood waiting for Aura to notice him. She did know he was there, but didn't turn to give any indication she knew. Laurence walked over and sat down next to her. Aura scooter away. "Aura..." Laurence said. "Leave. I just... thank you, so much for saving me... but if you hadn't... you would've been safe." Aura said. "I don't care. I love you." Laurence said. Aura stared at him for a second, then broke into tears. Her eyes began to smoke. "I-I'm sorry!! I w-w-was selfish, and r-ran!!" She sobbed. Laurence pulled her over, and wrapped her in a hug. "I p-promised myself, I-I wouldn't fall in l-love! But, I d-d-d-did! Laurence, I hate you! You m-m-made me fall in love..." Aura sobbed, and began to bang her fists against his chest. Aura tried to hit hard, but she was still weak, and it felt like a pat to Laurence. "I hate you..." Aura continued to mutter. Laurence didn't say anything, just held Aura, with a small smile. She finally tired herself out. "I love you..." Laurence repeated. "I love you, too..." Aura sobbed. Laurence gave a tiny laugh, before pulling Aura into a kiss. When he pulled away, Laurence laughed, as Aura's eyes returned to normal. "So, you like poems?" He asked. "Heh, yeah..." Aura muttered. "Well, I wrote one for you." Laurence said, pulling out a piece of paper.
With her long blonde hair, and light-teal eyes
Her words are always caring and wise
Despite the thing she believes is inside
She sent life and love with each passing stride
Aura Boreas the meif'wa I love
I promise I'll never leave my doveLaurence looked up. "HA! That was horrid! But... I love it." Aura said, with a smile.
