I managed to wake up at 9:00 in the morning the next day. My eyes were still heavy but I needed to get up as I had a lot planned for the day. I had a shower and brushed my teeth, then went and got dressed. The first thing on my agenda for the day is to find an outfit to wear for tomorrows audition. Thinking about the auditioned made my stomach flutter; I was so scared just thinking about it so I have no idea what I’m going to be like tomorrow. I pushed the thought to the back of my mind and packed a handbag with my money and my camera in case I wanted to take any pictures today and left out of the front door.
I walked into the first girl’s clothing shop I found and I automatically fixed my eye on this beautiful pair of skinny jeans. I wasn’t going to over dress tomorrow; I’ll leave that if I get through to the live shows. I picked up a pair that were my size and slung them over my arm, now I just needed to find a top to go with them. I found a sleeveless white top with golden buttons in the middle, I thought they looked pretty good together so I went over and paid for them. I paid the lady and decided to go back home, to exhausted to go sightseeing.
I spent the rest of the day lounging around my apartment, flicking through the channels till I found a horror movie. I jumped a lot and was glad when it was finally over. All of the main characters died in the most gruesome way possible and I was pretty freaked out so I thought it would be best to get some beauty sleep, I have to be up early tomorrow anyway. I got into bed and drifted off into a deep sleep.

“Palms to the sky
We unite
Palms to the sky
We unite
I'm feeling, I'm feeling, I'm feeling
Fe-feeling it
We rise tonight-” I quickly picked up my phone and turned off my alarm that had disrupted me from my sleep. I guess it was time to get ready. It took me about an hour to get fully ready and I left the apartment feeling extremely anxious. Georges door cracked open when I walked past it and he grabbed hold of my wrist.
“Hey…I remembered it was your audition today, I just wanted to wish you goodluck.” I smiled at him.
“Thanks George, um…why are we whispering?” He let out a little laugh.
“Daisy’s still sleeping,” I raised my eyebrows at him, “Daisy…my girlfriend?” I pointed at him with my index finger.
“Ahhh, yes. You’re girlfriend, forgot about her for a second there!” He chuckled to himself again. “Anyway George, I best be off.” I waved to him but he grabbed onto my arm and pulled me back. He placed his lips to my left cheek and they travelled up to my ear.
“Good luck babe…Not that you’ll need it.” I stared at him for a while, feeling a bit dazed about him being so close to me. I snapped out of my little daze and all I managed was to nod at him and turned my back to him and began to walk down the stairs. Wow.

This was it. I had waited for 6 bloody hours and it was finally my turn. I held my microphone in both of my hands and was shaking uncontrollably. “Okay, Alise is it?” I nodded my head at him and the man put his hands on my shoulders, either to get me to focus or to stop me shaking, maybe both. “You’re about to go on, you need to stand on the X in the middle of the stage and just do your best okay?” I nodded at him again. “Okay, in 3…2..On you go.” I managed to move my feet forward slowly and the crowd clapped as I came on stage. I stood on the X like I was told and stared at the judges in front of me. Simon, Cheryl, Louis and Dani. Looks like they’ve got these judges back again.
