As I arose one morning about a week after Harry and I's successful date, I had a plan.

That day was the day that I was going to proclaim my love to Harry and kiss him until his lips were dry and chapped. Whether he was going to accept that was anybody's question.

I got ready with a gleaming smile on my face and almost skipped down the stairs but refrained because I would make an absolute fool out of myself.

When I got down to the crowded lobby where Josh and some other members of the crew were waiting for me, the butterflies in my stomach rose and took flight. To say I was damn nervous was a massive understatement.

As I approached Josh, he held out an arm and clinched me in a tight hug around my waist. "Today's the day then?" He said into my ear, he was the only person I had informed about my plan.

"The day for what?" Sandy asked with his eyebrows raised, I guessed that all the crew had a faint idea of what I was going to do.

"Evelynn here, is going to snog the brains out of Harry," Josh said and everyone cat called because most of them were huge 'Harlynn' shippers.

"You know, I really would describe you lot as a bunch of girls," I retorted and got a few protests back saying that they were the manliest men around. "Sure you are, now lets get going,"

We all walked out of the building with bright smiles on our faces and chirping happily to one another. We had to say our goodbye's to everyone, Josh and I did, because we were going in a different car since there wasn't enough seats in the other one.

After we had positioned ourselves in the seats --Josh driving on the left and I seated in the passenger on the right -- we got bored pretty easily.

"Put some music on!" I demanded and Josh sighed, probably not wanting to listen to my 'shit' music.

He stuck the radio on and immediatly 'Best Song Ever' started to surround us. I groaned in protest at the point that we had to listen to the same song as we had partied to the previous night but Josh was adamant in his decision.

I started to change the tuning but Josh slapped my hand away, protesting that we kept it playing. I demanded a changeover but the song still kept playing.

Dangerously, Josh's eyes were on the radio and not the road ahead of him. Retreating, I looked back up ahead of us and realising that we had swerved into the wrong sidd of the road, called at Josh to steer back.

Unfortunately, he was too late to notice and a big 'Coca-Cola' truck was a miniscule distance away from us. Josh swerved and attempted to get on the correct side but he was too late.

Our small convertabile crashed head on into the front of the lorry, causing the windscreen to smash and shards of glass to spray themselves into Josh and I's faces.

We were pushed back as the truck kept plunging into the car and when it stopped, everything fell into an eery silence.

With my eyes still open and my brain still functioning it was impossible not to feel the blistering pain that was coursing round my body. I miraculously managed to lift my shaking hand to caress the painful wound on my forhead. When I brought them down, the blood on my fingertips made the tears spurt out.

I turned my head to the terrifying site of Josh sitting there with his face almost plastered in blood and his eyes shut in unconciousness. I sobbed even harder at the sheer sadness of the fact that my best friend could be dead.

"Evelynn?!" A familiar voice called to me with panic laced in the tone.

I turned my neck to see the worried face of Sandy with a phone pressed to his ears. I scrunched up my face in sadness and he pressed a finger to my hand which was on top of the window pane.
