Goodbye

Simon's P.O.V.

I woke up to be in the hospital. The lights were so freaking bright, it hurt my eyes so much.

When I could finally see things, I just Tobi and Vik sleeping in a chair together, which was pretty weird considering the fact that Vik is dating Harry. At least I thought he was. Anyway, that is beside the point.

"Vik, Tobi?" I asked in a faint voice.

They ended up waking up right away.

"Simon, you are okay?!" Vik said getting up off of Tobi.

"I'm so happy!" Tobi said as he hugged me.

"But I guess Josh doesn't care." I said feeling pain fill throughout my body.

"About Josh...... He well, he ummm." Vik said pausing and unsure of what to say.

"Vik?" Both Tobi and I said in unison.

"You don't know either?" I asked Tobi as he just nodded.

"Josh, Josh, Josh has cancer, thyroid cancer. Yesterday when you were brought to the hospital, he had fainted. Josh is terminal. They are doing everything to help him." Vik said looking down.

My whole body went numb. I had a loss for feeling. Everything hurt, I felt like I was dying. I felt as if someone had ripped me heart out, put it back in and then ripped it again.

How could this off happen? I felt weak and cold and confused.

"Can I see him?" I asked hoping for the best.

"Not exactly. Not right now. Maybe in a little." Vik said.

"Look, it is going to be okay." Tobi said before I just pushed his arm away from me.

"No, nothing is going to be okay. You can't just say that. That doesn't work." I said just done with everything.

"Simon, Josh can make it through this, I know he can." Vik said smiling. 

Everything in my body wanted to believe that, but my heart ached in pain.

~~~~~~ Later that Night ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I was finally allowed to see Josh.

I walked into his room to see him completely lifeless. His skin was pale, real pale. He was obviously cold and hurting.

"Josh?" I questioned as he just turned his head.

His face showed pain and then it started to change.

"Simon! Come here." He said barely breathing.

I sat down in the chair next to his bed as he just held my hand.

"Simon, I know that it doesn't always seems like I truly care about you. It almost seems like I hate you most of the time. But the truth is, is that you make me so happy. My whole entire life has been full of heart break and pain. You changed that. You brought me happiness. I am so sorry that it ends like this. I love you Simon Minter. I always have and I always will. Never forget me, never forget us, never forget the feelings, never forget the pain, never forget the wonderful times, and never forget our love for one another. Somehow I had always stayed with you, through the lies, through the everything. I love you, never forget that." Josh said as he gave me a piece of paper.

"What is this?" I asked as tears kept falling from eyes.

"My goodbyes, read them when I am gone. After my funeral. Keep them forever. I love you." He said, as those were his last words.

"I-I love you too." I said in between each breath.

Doctors came rushing in as Tobi and Vik brought me out of the room. Once they got me out I just collapsed on the ground. My legs were numb and all I could do was hold on to the piece of paper.

A/N: so I am doing my school musical right now and I literally almost started cry writing this. I love minizerk with all of my heart and I am sorry for breaking your hearts. This is not  the end don't you worry, but it is coming to an end. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows, I learned that the hard way, but I had so much fun writing this and I am so happy that so many of you guys liked this. I am also so happy that so many people are falling in love with minizerk. Honestly, I've never loved a ship as much as this one. That is why I suck at writing anything that is not minizerk.
