I decided not to tell my sister about our father being here, and that I had a meeting with him this afternoon.

She would go ballistic, and I needed for her to not stress herself out and over do it within the next couple of months so she could make a full, healthy recovery.

I planned on meeting my father and then taking Shaleena out to meet a few people, I had Xander notify both packs ahead of time to not do any wolf like activities in front of my sister.

I was currently getting dressed so that I could meet Eliezer, "Hey Gorgeous?" I heard Xander call from out bedroom.

"Yeah?"

"Have you seen my watch?"

I chuckled slightly as I pulled on my shirt and walked out of the closet, shaking my head I opened the bed side table and pulled it out, "I've never seen anybody lose as much stuff as you do."

He frowned and put his watch on, "Not true, I've never lost my cell phone." He stuck his hands in his pockets and only pulled out his wallet, "Uh..." He trailed off, before parting all his pockets frantically before frowning.

I laughed and walked over to the dresser, "Right here, babe." I said as I picked it up.

He smiled sheepishly and wrapped his arms around my waist, "What would I do without you?" He kissed me softly.

I smiled into the kiss and pulled away quickly, "You'd lose everything."

"That I would gorgeous."

I went on my tippy toes and kissed him quickly, "I have to go."

He nodded his head, "Mind link me if you need me."

"I will." I called out as I walked out of our bedroom and down the stairs.

I was meeting Eliezer at a small café in town, and as soon as I got there I spotted him and went to sit down at the seat across from him.

"How are you?" He asked as I got situated.

"I'm peachy, and you?"

"I'm doing all right myself."

We fell into an awkward silence after we ordered our coffees and breakfast.

I decided to fill the awkward silence and ask the question I want the answer to the most, "Why'd you leave?"

He was silent for a few seconds after that before saying, "Misty found me, you know how the whole mate thing works, and I just couldn't find the strength to be away from her. It was the simplest solution."

I arched a brow, "You left two children behind, and you didn't even care."

"You act like leaving you two wasn't the hardest thing I had to do in my life, it was and I thought about you and Shay everyday."

I clenched my jaw, "Cut the crap Eliezer, you never cared about me. I was mistake and you made that fact known to me my entire life. The only reason I'm upset about you leaving was because you and Shaleena were close before she decided to stay away from you, you cried when she left, and when it came time for me to leave you didn't bat an eyelash. But I'd seen the way it hurt you when Shay had left, how could you leave her behind?"

He stared at me for a few seconds, "She didn't want to see me or talk to me, I came to terms with that fact and gave up. You surprised me by being the last to leave, you always were independent."

We were silent as the waitress placed our food on the table, I watched as she walked away before turning to Eliezer again.

"Whether Shaleena wants to talk to you or not is her deal. I'll inform her that you're here but I can't guarantee she will talk to you." I told him.
