"It's your decision if you'd like to talk to him or not." I was currently telling Shaleena that out father was in this town and she wasn't taking it lightly. We were also unpacking all of her stuff in her new apartment.

"Why didn't you tell me this before?" She asked.

I shrugged, "I didn't want to stress you out."

"I don't want to talk to him, and I don't want to see him."

I nodded my head, "I understand how you feel." I smiled at her, "Now onto more important matters, how do you feel about Michael?" I asked her.

She blushed and looked down at her hands, "He's really really hot, and he's nice."

"He seems to have taken a liking to you also."

Her eyes lit up, "Really?"

I nodded, "Yeah."

She looked down at her hands again, "Do you think it's too soon for me to like him, I mean I only met the guy yesterday."

I chuckled, "No, it's not too soon. Besides he's a good guy, there's nothing wrong with liking him."

She nodded her head, "Good, because he asked me out and I said yes."

"When's your date?"

"Saturday." She started putting clothes away into her dresser as my phone rang.

I looked at the screen and Melissa's name popped up, "Hey, Melissa." I answered.

"You're dead meat!" She screeched.

I chuckled, "And why is that?"

"You didn't tell me Shay was here, I'm at her front door right now and I swear to Jesus that if you don't let me in this instant I will knock this door down."

I laughed, "I'm on my way right now." Shay shot me a questioning look but I only smiled as I walked out of her room.

Melissa practically shoved past me to get into the house and sprinted towards the kitchen.

I heard a squeal come from the kitchen and smiled as I rolled my eyes.

I walked back into the kitchen to see the two girls chatting it up at the kitchen table. Shaleena must have come down while I was getting the door.

"Now that you have a new helper that you need to catch up with, I'm going to go see Xander." I told Shay.

She smiled and waved, saying goodbye and Melissa just flipped me off and I chuckled.

When I got home I walked into Xander's office and was actually surprised to see him passed out at his desk.

I quietly walked over to him and shook him slightly, "Babe.." I trailed off quietly.

He shot up and his eyes searched the room frantically before hey settled on me, he visibly relaxed and sat back in his chair.

"You okay?" I asked him.

He shook his head, "I just don't feel good today."

I gave him a sympathetic smile, "Come on, you can come to bed," I said and grabbed his hand.

He followed me to our bedroom where he basically ripped all of his clothes off except his boxers and climbed under the covers.

I felt his forehead and he didn't feel warm, "Maybe you just have a bug, I'll go get you some soup." I was about to leave when he pulled me back down on the bed.

He shook his head, "I don't want soup, I just want to be able to hold my mate as I nap."

I giggled and pushed off of him, "Let me change first."
