Bree's pov

I was shaking while gripping Lily's hands. Along with mine hers were zip tied. I lay there wondering where we were. I could feel Lily shaking too. "Do you know where we are?" I asked between shaky breaths. "No. I don't think your bionics will work somehow the man who captured us disabled my powers and it feels really weird, it's not a pleasant feeling, being without the rhythm of the earth in my bones, especially when you've always felt it as a comfort." I let her words sink in. She pulled away and rolled away from me as the door creaked open and slammed making me jump. I felt a pressure pushing on my back and then a kick in the side making me groan. He laughed, a cruel, wicked laugh, and walked away from me in the direction of Lily and I could hear her be picked up and sat down in s chair somewhere in the room. "You will do as I say. Got it!" I didn't hear an answer but I did hear the man's hand make contact with Lily's cheek as he slapped her for not answering. He yelled at her trying to beak her, he failed and grabbed her. "What do you know about Skyler Storm?!?" He growled. "Not a lot. All you need to know about her is on the comic books because that's what she is a comic book character!" Lily yelled her response. I heard the guy get up and he lifted me off the ground and pulled my blindfold off throwing me into the corner. I looked up to see Lily in the middle of the room sitting in a chair with her blindfold still on, an angry look on her lips. The guy walked back to her pulling a knife and pointing it at her and tapping it on her shoulders. "Now how about letting you're friend see you get killed. How would you like that?" He whispered in the worst way possible. Lily smirked and yelled her response. "The only death she would see would be yours!" That was a bad mistake. He drew the knife back and struck as I squeezed my eyes shut. I heard Lily yell in pain and be thrown onto the ground while she swore under her breath. I opened my eyes to see the man struck her in the leg making a hash from her knee to her ankle. It wasn't too deep but it was nasty. Them an swore and walked out slamming the door like always. I found a price of cloth to put pressure on Lily's wound to stop the bleeding and it finally did. I wrapped the scarf I had been wearing around her leg to act like a bandage. It wasn't very tight but lily could fix that when she woke up from fainting out of pain. I wiped the blood off my hands as best as possible but they were still stained red. I took a few shaky breaths before just sitting next to Lily and waiting.
