Rashel's pov
I looked around at the inside of the modern skyscraper it was massive. I heard Lily behind me looking at the details in the building. "Rashel come out here!" She was out on the balcony that over looked the entire city. "Woah!!" Was all I could manage. This place that the Elite force was going to stay in was amazing. Lily and I sat on the couch with everyone else and they explained where everything was and how it worked. According to Mr. Davenport the team would always be welcome. It was nice now. Oliver and Kaz had powers and Skyler had regained hers. The others had left to pick up things they needed and Connor and James went with them. Lily and I were alone when it started. Lily started coughing uncontrollably. I didn't know what to do. She got up as she started to gag and she threw up everything she had eaten that day. After a while she was just dry gagging and I grabbed her and pinned her to the floor as she gaged. She couldn't stop and it wasn't natural. I put my hands on her chin and found the back of her jaw bone and pushed on it with my thumbs. Her mouth closed along with her eyes but her body still convulsed with the motion of a gag. The convulsions became weaker and weaker until her body stilled completely. I picked her up and set her on the couch. That's when it was my turn. I was in so much pain and I laid on the couch as my world became a black pit that consumed me.
