Silence

Lily's pov

Something or someone was here. Whoever they were they just tried to kill Flare. I was bristling. Any energy controlled by feeling is a powerful one. For it has the power to make you a hero or coward. Anger. Anger was fueling a new energy. I felt Skyler's hand on my back and I pushed that angry, blazing energy down turning it into extra strength and stamina. Oh the energy was still there waiting to push through my surface making me do something for the best or worst. I flicked my ears around catching nothing. Just because I could hear and see nothing didn't mean that nothing was there. There was a rush of cool air and I growled. My growl turned into a cough and I looked around for who was messing with me. I stood still my flank touching Skyer's leg. Everything held its breath. I narrowed my eyes and let my powers come into control. I sprang into the air as the whole hospital filled with the sound of rushing air.

Bree's pov

I was standing next to Skyler and all of us including the now panther version of Lily. I gasped as she jumped into the air and landed with a growl rumbling with the power of an earthquake. Skyler and I hesitantly stepped forward and Lily took a step back to uncover the palm size, insect shaped robot. Lily shook her pelt and there was a flash. In her place now stood a small silver, white, and yellow dragon. She put her talon on the bug and she picked it up and tossed it into the air to be caught by Oliver. "What is this?" He asked. The now human lily shrugged. "I don't know. That's why I gave it to you. I figured we could go and give it to Chase and he might be able to figure it out." There was a rumble and the whole building shook. Most people including me fell to the ground. One of the few people who still stood was Lily but that was normal. We all stood up and Lily was back as a panther. She slipped between each person checking if they were okay. She growled once to get Oliver's attention to help someone but that was it. She made her way back to us and purred touching her nose to the back of our knees. Everything was an uneasy silence. Whatever threat there was had left. A shiver went down my spine and I sighed. The next while was going to be tough.
