Kim's pov

I had met another cousin. One that I would probably never see again. After a day Lily came back home and Skye went back to wherever. As soon as Lily got home she laid down and closed her eyes. I didn't stop her. She fell asleep and I went downstairs where my mom was cooking. "What are you cooking?" "I'm making orange chicken." "Yum." I spent the next hour cleaning my room with Lily past put on her bed. "Dinner!" I shook Lily awake and we went downstairs to eat. After we ate Lily and I changed and headed to the dojo for practice. We got there and she sat on the bench. Jack went over and offered his hand. "Come on. We have to practice." She looked at us as we gathered around her and she lifted the left side of her shirt to reveal the mark on her side. She then moved her short leg so we could see the other two on her left thigh. "Yeah. I'm not practicing today." That's when all the questions came. When they finally stopped pestering Lily with questions we all practiced while she watched from the bench. We were about half way done with practice when she left the dojo. We all stopped practice and ran after her. She was nowhere to be seen. We split up on groups of two. Jack with me, Milton with Eddie, and Rudy and Jerry. Jack and I went around into the parking lot with no luck. We went around the building to the wooded area behind the mall and saw her footprints in the mud. We ran back to the mall and told everyone and we were off. We walked following her footsteps until they stopped at the foot of a tree. I looked up and didn't see anyone. I looked higher and farther away in other trees and had luck. Lily was sitting on a thinner branch. Jack and I made our way to the tree she was in with the rest of the gang following close behind. "Lily what are you doing?" She looked down and smiled she got up and slipped down the tree effortlessly. Walking was a little more of a challenge with her only showing the slightest of limp that would go unnoticed by anyone who didn't know her. "Why'd you leave?" I asked looking her in the eyes. "It didn't feel right. To be there but not be able to practice." I nodded and we all made our way back to the dojo and we ended practice early. We all went to falafel Phil's to hand out. After a few weeks Lily came back to practice and she got a call from Skyler saying they moved to a new base and a tragedy had sprung up. She also wanted to see how Lily was doing. So she planned to go with the team the next day. She gave me a hug and set out to meet her team.
