Okay Kaley, don't cry. Your leaving your friends, and your boyfriend, behind. You must forget. You must. Sure, Serena may ending up liking him, maybe go on a date with him, but that doesn't matter anymore. I couldn't help it. I started crying holding onto my first picture with Calem. I wouldn't see him again. Maybe. I don't know. I looked over to the clock. 11:50.
I closed my eyes, seeing what may happen on the plane. Calem standing on the runway, crying. I would start crying. Everyone would start crying. Serena would slap Calem.
I opened my eyes. 12:20. I was dreaming...
I rode in the taxi from Lumiose to the Coumarine Airport. I pulled out the picture one last time. I did the one thing I never thought I would do. I never thought I could do it with that much anger.
I tore it in half.
I gave the man driving 750 Poke dollars as I made my way to the plane. Calem ran up to me and hugged me as I walked all the way to the plane.
"You sure Kaley?"
"I have no choice..."
"What? No Pokemon item reference?" "...Band." He laughed at that joke. I always make horrible "Poke-puns" I smiled faintly. I noticed he was holding something in his hand. I noticed I was looking at it. It was a Poke-ball, with "Absol" written on it. "No. Calem, you can't give this to me!" "I have to! It protects people from disasters, right? It can protect you from this one!"
I looked in my bag, there was clearly nothing. I needed to give him SOMETHING! I saw that the photo had ripped in half between Calem and I. I showed him the torn picture. "I...I'm guessing your really pissed, huh?"
"Yes. I'm leaving you, and your stuck with Trevor and Serena."
"It's okay! I'll never forget you!" he looked at Serena then back at me. "If she asks, I'll say no."
He took the photo of me. As he tried to hug me - which we did - I knew he wanted to kiss me. So I did it anyway, one last time.
"See ya...in a better life." Calem smiled at me as I got on the plane.
I sat down and waved goodbye to Calem as he grabbed some sort of paper out of his bag. It was a tissue. I started crying. Goodbye Calem...
