I slowly walked up the steps of Mt. Pyre. Ever since I saw that weird future Mew saw, I'm worried it will happen any minute now. I didn't realize the trainer still existed. I thought he left, I thought he was a myth. A legend. The past. He lived in Kanto. I couldn't help but think, Is it real? No, it couldn't be.

Luckily, it wasn't the trainer, just N. I waved hi to him, although I don't think he saw. He was looking at the ground, guessing in a daze. "N?" No reaction. "N?" Still nothing. "Natural Harmonia Gropius?" NOW he reacts.

     "Oh, hey Kaley."

"Hi. I don't think I said thank you, for saving me." He still said nothing. "I-I'm sorry about...that whole...er...Ghetsis thing." "He claimed he was my father a long time ago." I let him talk. "I believed him." I sat down next to him. "Well, if I would be alone all my childhood, I'd believe him, too." "Then he made me king of Team Plasma. I had to beat this one trainer. He beat me. My 'father' came in. He claimed I was just-" He clenched his fists. "-a freak without a human heart."

     "I-I'm sorry." I claimed.

"No, it's my fault. I couldn't be there to save you, to protect you. I should've been ME who was hurt."

"No, that's not true. If it were, you'd have shot me, with no feelings. That proves you have human in you somewhere." I felt bad for N, I felt like I needed to be with him, I mean, I needed a new companion, and this might help the war! Yes, I'll do it.

"I need to prove it more somehow. I need to prove to my father I am no freak that talks to Pokemon, can hear Pokemon's thoughts."

"Does this help?" I claimed as I kissed his cheek. I felt N start blushing, as I started to also. I let go as my face started getting red. "I-I'm sorry! I just felt bad and-"

"No, it's fine. But what are these feelings I have? They are not normal."

"It's called love, stupid!" I faintly laughed.

"Heh, feels good, for once." N sighed as he kissed me quickly.

     "I'll- er- go."

"Y-Yeah, I'd better go too." We sat there for what felt like days. I bit my lip as my face was still red. I got up and waved goodbye to N. I did it. I did it.
