"That looks so cool!"
"I know! It can protect itself from people by disguising itself like that!"
It was nearly dusk and they STILL were looking at Shaymin. I felt like they can't say this stuff aloud. I let them look at it. It was my fault. "Kaley? How was your dad?" asked Brendan.
"He was as protective as ever." Wally sighed.
"I heard about it. So did Brendan."
I looked at Wally. "What?"
"The war." I bit my lip as I looked down. "Yes."
Brendan put his hand on my shoulder, telling me it was okay. I looked up again because I heard something. I heard it again. And again. Again.
"What?"
I quickly stood up. "Gunshot." I claimed.
"There she is! Get her!" I turned around as I saw Team Flare and Aqua behind me. I quickly ran towards my fathers tree house as the others followed behind me. I started climbing up the ladder. I felt a pain on my leg. I got shot with one of the arrows that was 'specially modified' to make trainers go to sleep. I tried with all my might to climb up the ladder. When I made it, I noticed my father was gone. All I saw before I blacked out, was a pokeball. Engraved in it, was a Pokemon's name.
It started with M, and ended with a W. No.
I found myself laying on the ground, still the pain on my leg. I opened my eyes slowly and saw darkness. It was clearly nighttime. I opened my eyes more and saw everyone was sleeping, except Steven. He was looking down at the floor. I looked at the table that had the pokeball on it. I got up and walked over to it. I saw the letters M-E-W written on it. Oh my god. I thought. Steven clearly heard me because he looked up at me.
"Hey." I looked at Steven.
"Hi."
"So, your father trusted you with rare Pokemon?"
"Look who's talking. You have a Metagross, I had nothing."
Steven nodded. "Is the pain gone yet?"
"No." I looked down at my leg and noticed some bandages wrapped around the wound. I blushed and looked at Steven. "Did you do that?"
"No, Wally did." I looked at Wally who was sleeping in the corner, holding his pendant. I stopped blushing and I sat down next to Steven.
"What happened?" Steven put his arm around me.
"Well, Team Aqua attacked, but I'm not sure who the other team was." "It's hard to explain."
Steven stopped. "Well, you should get some rest." I nodded as I sat back where I was when I woke up. I looked at Steven one more time. We both blushed as I closed my eyes.
