When Pokémon Stand Still

She Came

Its no use, I can't sleep.
I turned on my light next to my bed and rubbed my eyes. There was a thunderstorm happening outside and I needed to check it out. So I put on my jeans and sweater and walked outside. I looked over at Brendan's house and he was outside, too. I waved as a lightning bolt struck and thunder sounded a few moments later. He walked over to my porch as he was saying something.
"The heart is pretty close." I nodded. "So. Where'd you live before here?" I sighed.
"Okay, I lived in Kalos. I had to move here for some reason." I rubbed my eyes as I was still tired. Brendan held up his hands which meant wait. I waited as Brendan came back with coffee or something. I took a sip.
Hot chocolate.
"We only have tea in Kalos. They only sell Hot chocolate in Snowbelle..." "Heh." Brendan took a sip as well. I looked at him, and I quickly realized he wasn't wearing his hat.
"You aren't wearing your hat..."
"And your not wearing your hair up." We both laughed. We also were looking at our Pokedexes to see what Pokemon were in the storm. I looked out to the grass as I saw a strange dark figure that looked like a girl. I shrugged. I kept looking occasionally and she was still there.
"Er...Brendan?"
"Hm?"
"Do you see that?" Brendan looked up but then I fell to the ground.
"Kaley? What happened?"
"I-I don't kno-"
"SHUT UP!" I looked up again as she was kneeling next to me.
"Remember me?" I started breathing heavily. I heard her laughing as Brendan started yelling.
"Who are you?"
"I'm nobody special..."
"Yeah, right." But she disappeared. Brendan looked at me and held out his hand.
"Here I'll help you up." I grabbed his hand as he pulled me up. We ended up looking into each others eyes and we blushed. I quickly let go.
"What happened?" He asked.
"I don't know.."
"Well, I'm gonna go back to sleep. I'll talk with Wally about this in the morning." I nodded as I walked inside my house.
