You are mine

CHAPTER 2

It had been a few days since the incident during lunch and the kai and his group hadn't bothered them. It was supposed to be a good thing but Kyungsoo couldn't get more anxious. It was like the calm before the storm. He started to become jumpy, Avoiding even Kai's shadow. His friends noticed it and decided to calm him by taking him out for some snacks after school. They were seated on the corner table at a fast food restaurant. They had ordered their food already. Baekhyun who was sitting right in front of Kyungsoo  was getting irritated by Kyungsoo's  constant leg shaking and nail biting but he also felt bad for his friend so he gently grabbed Kyungsoo's hand and stopped him from terrorizing his nails. Kyungsoo, who was too immersed in his thoughts jumped in surprise. Luhan who was sitting next to Kungsoo sighed and put a comforting hand on his shoulder, "Kyungie, Please relax. I know you're scared but honestly there's not much that kai can do. You don't need to be so on edge because of him. And if he does try something then we'll be with you. We'll protect you and help you. There's not much a barely seventeen year old can do." Luhan had now grabbed both of Kyungsoo's hand and was rubbing soothing circles on the back of his hands. Kyungsoo weakly nodded and relaxed his tense posture. He had to be strong. He couldn't break down like this. That was what Kai wanted and he couldn't let him have what he wanted. Kyungsoo gave a small smile to all his friends and received blinding smiles in reply. "Thank you" he squeezed luhans hand a bit. Luhan only smiled and let go of his one hand but held the other tightly. It was his way of reassuring Kyungsoo that it was okay and that he was there for him. Suho noticed that Tao was unusually quiet for his usual cheery and talkative self and called him out on it, Tao only gave a smile in return and said everything was fine and to not worry. Suho could tell that he was clearly lying but decided to let it go for now. He was going to have a serious conversation with the younger later on. The food arrived and the mood suddenly got brighter after all there was no darkness that pizza and bubble tea couldn't remove.

After eating watching a movie and playing around a little they decided to just spend the night together and went to Xiumin and suho's apartment as the two of them lived alone while their family was in some other city. This was a tradition for their group. Whenever something good or something bad happened or whenever one of them had a fight at home or needed to be comforted they would hang out, watch a movie , order takeouts and then sleep at the cousin's apartment. It was a medium apartment with two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, a T.V lounge and a small dining room attached to the kitchen. It was nice and comfortable and was like a second home to them. They had privacy there. And everyone of them had a spare key so they could let them self in at anytime they wanted. Once they entered the apartment Kyungsoo and suho, the only people beside minseok in the group who knew how to make a decent meal, made their way to the kitchen to heat the dinner they bought on the way back and the rest went to xiumin or suho's room to grab some clothes so that their uniforms don't get wrinkled, well, more wrinkled than they already were. By the time dinner was ready the others had changed and had already decide to watch all three of the iron man movies. Suho and kyungsoo went to change too and Baekhyun and Tao decided to serve dinner in the T.V lounge. It had only one couch so they settled themselves on the carpeted floor and as soon as the both of them returned they played the movie and ate their dinner the night was spent in laughter and senseless jokes and before they knew it the sun was already coming up. They had stayed up on a school night. They were so fucked. Everyone took a bath one by one and now that they had to go to school they were dead tired. Xiumin prepared strong, bitter coffee with breakfast to wake them up. As Xiumin was addicted to coffee already, it took him three full cups to finally be fully awake. The others only needed one for the task. With heavy footsteps they made their way to school. This was going to be a very long day.

During class they were all too tired to pay attention .The day was exceptionally slow and by the time the day ended Baekhyun was walking while asleep leaning completely on Kyungsoo who himself kept yawning. The halls were empty because it was already an hour after school finished but they had detention because they had unfortunately dosed off in class. Baekhyun had his eyes closed so when Kyungsoo suddenly stopped, he almost fell. He was about to say something but then what he saw made his eyes widen and his breath hitch. Because they were alone on the school and jongin and his brother were right infront of them holding their usual smirks.
