Chapter 35-
Courtland's POV:
"I can do it." I said reassuring myself. We stood behind the bushes at the manor of Damien. It was small which was surprising and I could already see two dark angels guarding the door.
"Okay. Dad and Tyler will distract them by setting some of the forest aflame while you will go in through the back and I will keep intouch via ear piece." Jeremy explained going over the plan. I placed the small blue tooth in my ear and I made sure I had every weapon attatchment on me.
I flicked out my hands and I disappeared.
"You can do it, Court." Jeremy assured me. I nodded even though he couldn't see it and Jeremy nodded to dad and Tyler who had a large bucket of gasoline and were pouring it on random bushes and setting them on fire.
They lit the first one and Jeremy moved out of range and I went around the back of the house and I heard yelling from inside...Damien.
"Get out there and see what it is!" He yelled. From what I could see, he had very little dark angels with him. Surprising. I guess he didn't find a mother willing to cooperate.
I waited a bit before Jeremy said "Go" into my ear. I climbed up the house scrapping my pants harshly and my hands. I got to a window and slid it open lightly stepping on my toes.
I was in the bathroom.
Dimitri's POV:
"Dimitri she will be fine." Taylor assured as I paced around the palace. They were gone for longer then they were supposed to be.
"He's an alpha. Too far away from his mate. A true alpha." Austin whispered although I could hear. That was right. I was always...different. My appearance changed randomly which was a sign of a true alpha. I could sense Courtland all the way in the human world. I was always stronger then a regular alpha. Faster, smarter and everything above. Which meant my mating relationship with her was even more powerful. I didn't want her out of my sight. Let alone on a dangerous mission.
" Dimitri just think, if she didn't do this. The dark angels would take over." Mitchel said. I heard him but I didn't say anything. My phone buzzed in my pocket and I reached for it quickly. Sliding it opened.
It was Delilah.
"I'm outside. Come chat with me."
She said. I didn't respond except just walked outside. She was my big sister and she always knew what to say. No one objected to my abrubt leave.
Just like she said...she was there. Long black hair, tanned skin and a baby bump because she was pregnant.
"Delilah." I said. She smiled and pulled me into a hug. She always did. I really never enjoyed it but now I kind of needed a hug. I know it sounds really lame. I am this big broody alpha hugging my big sister because I need a hug.
"I know it's hard Dimitri...But she will be back soon. She would never leave you."She said. She pulled away and rested her hands on my shoulders.
"Have you seen the way she looks at you? It's like she only sees you and nothing else. She only has a certain smile for you. She loves you and she will never leave."She said. I was taller then Delilah and I ran a hand through my hair.
"Mom, dad, Derek, Darrien, Drake, the rest of the pack and I are so proud of you. You are marrying the Lady. The prodigy of the werewolves and you have turned into a good alpha male." She said.
"That's if she comes back." I said grimly. I hated saying it but I did.
"Dimitri don't say that. She's coming back." Delilah said a bit forcefully. I looked into her eyes and she hugged me tightly again.
