Chapter 42-
Courtland's POV:
"Wow, she actually made sure my steak was well done." I said surprised as I cut into my steak. everyone was eating while a couple of the younger kids were dancing. I sat with Taylor on my right and Dimitri on my left.
I looked over as Dimitri's steak was dripping with juice.
"Eww." I said grossed out.
"Wanna bite?"He smirked holding out his fork. I hesitantly bit it and spit it out on my plate.
"Dimitri, that's gross." I said making a face and taking a sip of my pop. As I finished my food, Joey, Jackson and Jacob ran up.
"Sissy dance?" Jacob asked as they lightly tugged on my arm. I smiled and walked down with them, I had to bend down a bit and I held onto Joey and Jackson's hand as we danced to the music. They all laughed and giggled, finally mum called them over to eat some food and I went to sit back down. The evening was almost over and I was sad. I was leaving my home and going to a new one. Which meant I would be leaving my pack, my family, my best friend...everyone.
But I was moving in with the love of my life.
As I thought about this I rubbed circles on Dimitri's hand as he talked to Andrew.
"Are you excited?" He suddenly whispered in my ear. Taylor and Andrew were gone and Dimitri touched the bottom of my back and the top of my ass.
"For what?" I asked.
"For our trip. You...me. A private house, the ocean, alcohol, quiet nights." He whispered biting my ear softly. I gasped and goosebumps rose and he chuckled his hot breath hitting my neck.
"Where are we going?" I asked as he moved away.
"I told you. The human realm." I sighed and shook my head. He wouldn't tell me anymore. All I knew was that we were going to the human world.
"By the way. You look incredibly sexy in lace." He said touching my lace covered arm. I smiled and shook my head. When it was time to cut the huge cake we took many pictures. Well my mum took many pictures and once again...she was embarrassing me. which made Dimitri laugh.
As the night progressed and people began to grow tired. I knew that me and Dimitri would be leaving soon.
"Let's go, my love." He whispered to me as he pulled me close while we were dancing. I smiled and said nothing. Our bags were already in our car and the driver was waiting for us.
A lot of commoners still stood outside and everyone was cheering as we left. Before I got in I threw the boquet behind me and...believe it or not, Tyler's little girlfriend caught it and she turned bright red and starred at Tyler sheepishly who smirked at her.
So cute.
Dimitri helped me in the car and we drove off. I was excited yet nervous for what was to come.

Once we got into the human realm, all of our bags were transferred over to the plane we were taking. I had a chance to change into jean shorts and a baseball style t-shirt. I shoved on my Toms and laid on the couch in the jet as Dimitri sat in the chair still wearing his suit.
I starred at him. I was kind of uncomfortable and a little bit cold, I got up and walked over sitting on his lap and cuddling right into him. He was warm and cuddly although he was all muscle.
"Tired?" He asked. I nodded snuggling my head in and he kissed my head.
"Rest, love. you're going to need the energy." My eyes flashed open and I heard the smirk in his voice. He was such an ass.
