Dear Del,
It's been so long since I've written to you last. So much has changed the past 90 years. I'll be turning 106 in a few months. It's hard to believe. But after that, I think it's my time. I'll be seeing you soon, my love. Before I speak with you again, I thought I would write you this one letter, to catch up on everything that's happened. On December 3rd, 2025, I married Mabel Citali. We've been very happy together, and I'm lucky to've met her. I hope you will not hate me for moving on. We adopted a son by the name of Stanford. He is straight, and married Pacifica Southeast on February 15, 2040. I picked that date specifically. They have a son, Thompson, who has a nice boyfriend, Robbie, now.
I live alone now. Mabel died at age 99, in 2100. I miss her often. But while grief and I are far from friends, we are no longer enemies. I've learned to embrace death.
I've also forgiven God. I forgave Him a long time ago. I think that was a bit after I stopped writing to you. Sometimes it's easy to imagine you never existed But then I read your letters. Even though you died over 90 years ago, your writing is still full of personality and joy. I'm still understanding how someone in your condition could be as happy as you. You always liked to leave a sense of mystery around you. I wish I could've discovered more about you in this life. Ah well. We'll have eternity to get to know each other in Heaven.
Love,
Taryn Wyght
