Sorry the update took so long. I'm very sorry. I'll try but I can't promise to update soon. I'm putting more time into 'regardless'' sequel 'He's Mine'. Anyway. Enjoy.
I slowly came to when I felt feather light kisses on my neck. The lips shot bolts through my body and I knew it was Black. He seemed a little out of it. He began kissing in just one spot till he stopped kissing my neck and stayed there with his lips lingering on the crook of my neck.
"Darnell." My voice was soft and had a bit of grogginess to it.
"I have to leave. You need to stay in this room for a week love." He said gruffly. His voice was strained and pained. He groaned while breathing me in and it pained me to know he's in pain from something I'm doing.
"Why what's wrong?" I asked as he got up from behind me.
"I'm sorry love. You must stay here. You'll find out soon." He says and I shake my head.
"No stay." I whispered broken, standing to follow him like the lost puppy I am. The strong desire grew in my body to be near him and I suddenly felt like a clingy girlfriend.
"I'm sorry I can't be here for this love." He whispered and quickly left. I went to follow him but paused when I heard the click of the lock.
"The only person to go in this room is my mother. If I find that anyone has been in there this week no matter your gender or relation to her I'll kill you myself." Blacks cold authoritative voice yelled from downstairs. His footsteps along with another pack member came close to my door and he stopped.
"I need you to put me in the special room. I won't be able to contain my wolf. I also need you to put some red lavender leaves on the outside of every window and literally cover the door in red lavender leaves. It will block the scent." He said.
"Yes alpha." I heard Jayden's voice on the other side.
"Inject me with wolfsbane if you have to, just do not let me leave that room. Ever. For a week and a half. I also expect updates on her." He said and I whimpered at the thought of him being injected with wolfsbane.
"Black. No. Let me out. Please. Tell me what's going on." I cried out in agony. What is this new feeling? Why do I feel so hurt at the thought of him trying to stay away for so long?
I heard his wolf whimper and he walked away quickly. I clawed at the door and my wolf started pushing forward. I shifted into my fiery colored wolf and jumped at the door. I bounced back and jumped at it again. I could feel it breaking as the pain and warmth spread through me more fiercely. I rammed my head into it and bounced back. My wolf whimpered but kept ramming into the door. She refused to give me control back and the pain became unbearable. My wolf howled in pain and rejection. Her howl was long, pained, and sad. She rammed into the door again and fell to the floor whimpering. She jogged slowly to the bathroom with her tail down and closed the door. She somehow managed to lock the door with her teeth and she laid in front of it whimpering as more heat and pain struck her. A desire ran through my body but my wolf was still in control and her pain of rejection was more powerful that the lustful desire. Her thoughts were full of digging holes and jumping in them to bury herself alive. She was that depressed. She was constantly trying to get to Black's wolf but they've both blocked us off.
'Is this what rejection feels like?' She sobs in my head.
'To feel ignored. Left. Unloved?' She sounded so miserable as she sobbed to herself.
'Blocked.' She whimpered and laid her head on the ground. It's almost impossible for wolves or any dog to actually shed tears but here my wolf was. Laying on the ground of the bathroom bawling her eyes out. She couldn't do anything about it. She couldn't teleport. She couldn't break through the door. She can't contact Black. All she can do is cry off the feeling of rejection.
'What's happening. Why won't he tell us what's happening to us?' She cried and started hiccuping like crazy. She eventually threw up. She stood up and moved to a different place in the bathroom.
"I don't know lilac. Search our memory for anything that sounds similar to what's happening now." I say and she mentally nods.
I am able to shift back and I clean up the vomit. I take a quick shower whimpering and turning the water colder and colder till it's almost shut off. I brush my teeth and my hair. I then shift back into my wolf and lay back down. My wolf whimpers for Black and Gold(Blacks wolf if I didn't name him already). She soon falls asleep and we stay that way for a while.
We wake to a hand on our side and lilac instantly snaps at the hand catching it between her jaws. The blood rushes in and she releases and stands. She walks us to the closet and closes the door somehow locking that one too. She plops down heavily on the floor under Black's clothes, his scent cascading down on us in rushes and waves. Her whimpers intensify and she pulls a few of his shirt's down off the hangers on top of us. along with his shorts and almost all his clothes into a big pile. She crawls out from under them and starts laying them out in some sort of nest formation and lays in the center of the ring of clothes. she somehow manages to pull a giant shirt over us and it covers us completely except for a small part of our muzzle. She whimpered when a large wave of pain flew through our body and shook. She pulled our muzzle into the cave of clothes and breathed deeply a breath full of Black's scent. Her whimpers grew and she finally fell asleep.
Black's POV
"What do you mean she isn't eating?!?!?!" I yelled at Jayden pulling on the restraints.
"She has locked herself in your closet and isn't responding to us. Her breathing is labored and slow and has been like that for around two days. we can barely smell her anymore. The only way we know she is still in there are from her pained and sad whimpers." He explains quickly and I jerk and yank at the restraints. My eyes were shifting between mine and Gold's and he was pushing forward harshly.
"Let me out." I yelled pulling at the restraints. I heard one crack and looked at Jayden.
"You know I can't do that Alpha." He says softly looking down.
"Let me out now Jayden or so help me god I will not hesitate to torture your mate for you keeping me hostage while my mate could potentially be dying. I will break through these chains and I will torture her." Gold growled taking control and Jayden growled at Golds words.
"Let me the fuck out!!!!!" Gold yelled at him Pulling at the silver chains more. I heard cracks and Jaydens eyes widened unnaturally. He quickly walked forward and undid the chains on my feet first then my arms. Next he undid the chain around my waist and my neck. I pushed him away and ran to the stairs and up them to the first floor. Everyone froze with a small horrored face and I took control back and growled running past everyone bumping into a few people.
"Get out of my way!!!" I yelled, my voice booming through the halls. I could smell the faint scent of Kats heat drifting towards me but that's only because I'm her mate. No one else can smell it over the red lavender leaves. I ran at the bedroom door and ran into it but bounced back igniting a loud crack. Right down the middle a large crack formed and I ran into the door again breaking it in half falling onto the floor of my bedroom. The room is vacant and I could smell her strongly in the closet. I heard a small whimper and my wolf took full control shifting into his overly sized form. He angrily ran to the closet and bit and clawed at the door knob. It fell to the floor with a loud clank and rolled away. He pushed the door gently with his snout and stepped into the closet.
The large pile of my clothes moving up and down gently surprised me. I saw a bit of kats nose peak out as I got closer but her sleeping breaths still reached my ears. Gold pranced forward and pulled a chunk of clothes from the back of the makeshift nest and laid in its place. He snuggled up to her and wrapped himself almost completely around her balled form. She leaned back against me and her wolf purred gently as shocks, pleasure, and love shot between us. Her body is hot. Really hot but all I can think about right now is waiting for her to wake up so she can eat again. For now I'll let her rest in peace. But as soon as her beautiful eyes open she is eating an entire pig.
But for now. Let us rest. Let us sleep in each others embrace. And let us lie together covered in each others love.
