"This pregnancy will be fairly shorter than a normal werewolf pregnancy since they are twins, and you are about five days pregnant." The doctor says but I don't think we heard him. I was too busy taking in my little pups.
"They're so small." I mumble and reach forward touching the screen.
"I'll just write the info down." I hear him mutter to himself and walk out. I look down at my little luna and smile. I wipe the gel off her little bump and lean down to pepper it with kisses. She giggles and playfully pushes my head away.
"Black. That tickles." She squeals and I laugh with so much joy.
"Oh. I'm so happy my little luna." I smile and lift her into my arms to cradle her. Her wolf purrs while she turns into my chest and smiles against my left pec and breathes in my scent.
"Alpha. It's dangerous to hold the Luna like that at this moment." The doctor says shakily and I growl but set her down.
"I'm sorry, Alpha, but it could hurt the pups." He says and I nod growling softly.
"You might want to get home soon. Her wolf instinct will come in soon and she will want to find a den." He says and I furrow my eyebrows.
"What?" I ask.
"Her wolf. Every white wolf has denned their pups till they were weened. They will be born in wolf form and will shift to their human form after they have opened their eyes and have just started eating hard food. It's a natural thing for wolves. The white wolves just naturally have more wolf instincts than human." He says and I growl.
"How do you know this. Not even she knew this from the thought running through her head right now." I yell enraged.
"I told him. I didn't know I'd be here so fast." Marcus says from the door.
"It's comes in my books. The Phoenix will have more wolf instincts than the white wolf and she will be more hard headed like a she-wolf." He says walking in.
"You will also get more instincts. More protective the closer she gets to birth and you will kill anything you feel is a hint of a threat to them." He says nodding to my little Luna.
"Though, we may need to sedate you for a weekly check up on her. This was a close call Black. I need to know now, that we have permission to do that if we have to." He says look at me dead serious.
"You'll be more protective than her. And you'll be almost rogue up until they are weened." Marcus says and I growl at the thought of him with my kitten while I'm unconscious.
"You can't leave her till I'm waking." I say strained. I know it's for the best.
"Yes. Of course. But, it won't be a normal sedative. It'll be something only I have. Any other sedative won't work. It's specifically taught to the Phoenix teacher to be used at times like these." He says and I nod growling at the thought of someone using a sedative to take my luna. They'd certainly have a huge death wish.
"Y-yes." I stutter strained.
"Don't worry Black. I have devoted 18 amazing years to training Kat to defend herself in human and wolf form. And I have been given the honor to protect her at these times. She'll be safe till you wake. I'll even put up a barrier around the den to keep rogues away while you are out." He says.
"Will anyone be able to get close?" I ask the question floating around in my wolf's mind.
"Maybe your mother. You will be unpredictable, but your mothers wolf will be instantly recognized by your wolf and he will almost bow down to her but he will still be on high alert. And Kats parents. Though, your wolf will be sketchy with them." Marcus says and walks over to Kat.
"I can heal her most. But she will start to need to den in a few days. Maybe even hours. It'll help with the check ups. And we would probably only need to do one or two before he declares it safe." Marcus says and I nod.
"Do it." I nod and he nods back.
"Give me your wrist Kat." He says looking at her. She places her wrist in his outstretched hand and he pulls a capped needle from his pocket.
"This is some of her blood that I collected when she was taken when she was littler. Her blood in here is in a sort of speed heal process from when it was trying to heal her at an un-normal rate." He explains and slowly slides the needle into a vain on her wrist. He injects her with it and pulls is back out then throws it in the trash next to him.
"It should be almost done in a bit." He says and smiles down at Kat.
"Take care of her Black. She's a daughter to me. Treat her well." He says and I nod caressing Kats face.
"My wolf is trying to push through." She mumbles closing her eyes a bit.
"That's her trying to find a den." Marcus says and lays a hand on her head.
"Let her go Kat." He says and she nods. Kats eyes shift black and she shifts.
"She won't be shifting back Black. Soon you'll have the need to stay in your wolf form. For now, just follow her in your wolf form. Don't try to help her den. She needs to do it to have a sort of accomplished feeling." I growl but nod anyways.
"Fine."
