Light Yagami

"Hey, {Y/N}," Light said, "I'm heading back to the hotel. I'm gonna be back a bit late, okay??"

"Again?" You groaned, sitting on the couch and leaning over to back to look at him. "Light, come on. Take a day to relax."

"Unless you wanna be harassed by the entire investigation team, I suggest that you let me go. I'll be back later. I promise."

You clicked your tongue and sighed, nodding and waving to Light as he left the house. However, after three or four hours, you felt the need to go to the hotel to check on everyone. It's not like L would mind, he enjoyed having you around. So grabbing some food for everyone, you made your way to the hotel. When you got up to the floor that they were working, you heard shouting. As you made your way closer to the yelling, you realized that Misa Amane was arguing with everyone.

"Misa, love, come on. I'll be there in a second, okay? Then we can go on our date."

Date?

"Ugh, fine, whatever. I'm gonna go outside and wait. Don't wanna sit here and have the pervert squad stare at me." Misa said, and the door opened. Almost immediately, she took notice of you standing there. "Oh, hey, {Y/N}!! Jeez, girl, your face is completely red. You seem pissed."

Ignoring her, you pushed past her and went into the room, closing the door behind you. "Light. Yagami." You said, tone dangerously sweet.

Light spun around and when he saw you, he froze. "{Y/N}? How did you get here?"

"I'll be asking the questions, thank you. What's this about you taking Misa Amane on a date?"

The room was silent for a second before Matsuda mumbled, "Busted."

"You see, {Y/N}, she had been pestering me for a while, so I decided to indulge her in one date. Is that a crime?"

"When you lie to your girlfriend about going on a date with another girl, then yes, Light. It is." You yelled.

"It's not like that, {Y/N}-!"

"I don't wanna hear your bullshit excuses, Yagami." You exclaimed, and L stood up and cleared his throat.

"{Y/N}, perhaps you'd like to settle this at home...?" He suggested, and you shook your head.

"No. You know what, L, I'd rather finish this here. Sorry to interrupt the investigation, but I'm done with this asshole. Light, we're done."

"{Y/N}, don't overreact, okay?? Just calm down and we can talk this over."

"No, Light. We're done. I'm done." You said before storming out, pushing past Misa again to make your way home.

L Lawliet

"Oi, L," you mumbled impatiently, waiting for him to get off the laptop. "Come on, we've gotta go!!"

"Okay, okay," he said, "I'll be back. Let me go use the bathroom, and then we'll leave."

You groaned and sat down in front of the laptop opening it up to view the case files. But what was displayed on the screen was an email to another girl.

"What...?" You mumbled to yourself, and then you heard L coming back into the room. You glared at him as soon as you saw him, causing him to look at you in question.
