I jumped forward, scared from this nightmare. My dream hadn't even finished but it still scared me. Why am I having these dreams? The door opened but I was too busy breathing heavily from that dream.
"Preston?" I called, faintly.
"No." A voice responded.
"Oh great. Hope you're not here to flirt with me, Vikk. " I said, immediately recognizing his voice and short figure.
I started blinking because I couldn't see. All I saw was a blur. Rob please come home. I need you. I'm scared.
"Rob will be home soon. He should be taking a plane back here tomorrow. Don't be afraid." Vikk said, sitting next to me.
"O-okay." I responded. I still couldn't see though. Dammit I can't see and I'm next to the person that I don't trust.
Vikk looked at me, confused. He didn't say anything to me but he put his hands on my face and had me turn to him. He looked into my eyes and noticed something wrong with them, but he was clearly stumped as to why I couldn't see.Vikk's POV:
I looked at her eyes. She kept blinking and she looked terrified. She clearly had another one of those dreams and it startled her.
"Dammit I can't see and I'm next to the person I don't trust." She thought.
She still doesn't trust me. But wait, she can't see me. I went into her mind and saw what she saw. All I saw was a blur of what appeared to be me. What could be wrong with her? I left the room to find Mitch or someone else who could help. I need Rob here to calm her down before we can figure out what is up with her.Luna's POV:
Vikk left me sitting there alone. Crap now I'm alone without the ability to see. I stood up and walked to the window, just barely missing the bed. I looked out the window. I couldn't see but I could make out a few figures like trees and cars. I heard the door behind me and footsteps coming into the room. Something clearly taller than me tried to grab me but I whipped around and jumped to the bed, missing him. I heard him whisper something under his breath as more footsteps came towards me.
"Going for round 2 eh?" I laughed.
"I thought you couldn't see. VIKK YOU LIAR." He yelled.
"I can't see anything but a blur but I could hear you. Silly Lachy, eyesight isn't the only sense that is useful." I replied.
"You would be in so much trouble if you could see right now. I won't attack a blind girl though." Lachlan answered, irritated at me.
I heard another set of footsteps coming towards me. I looked up and saw a blur of red and black. He was moving towards me quite quickly.
"I'm guessing you're knocking me out again eh Mitch?" I commented.
"Haha you guessed it. As soon as Rob gets back we will find out what the hell is wrong with you. Don't think that this will go unpunished though." Mitch snickered.
I sat contently, knowing if I ran that Lachlan would catch me before I could get anywhere. I looked to Mitch , expecting a light poke that would knock me into darkness, but that sure wasn't what I got. He slapped me hard across the face then threw me to the ground. Shit that hurt. Lachlan grabbed me up by the arms and held me to eye level.
"You will learn to do as you're told." He hissed.
"Lachlan put her down, the nightmare that she might have while sleeping will be enough." Vikk shouted.
I was thrown back down but not for long. Mitch zapped me with his finger, making me very sleepy. Vikk quickly grabbed me and carried me to his room, almost falling over. I must be a little too heavy for him. He locked the door and sat next to me. I couldn't see his expression so I couldn't tell how he felt.
"Thank y-" I said, darkness cutting me off. I drifted into complete and utter darkness without a dream. The art for this chapter is something by Gabri. :D
