She loves me? After all I have done to her and all that pain and fear I have caused? How? Why? I just don't get it.
I walked into Mitch's room, wanting answers and such. Jerome was in there and didn't seem to be happy that I was interrupting their conversation.
"Um excuse me." I said, trying to be polite.
"Lachlan? What do you need?" Mitch asked.
"I need to speak with you. Alone." I replied.
"Oh OK. Jerome, we'll talk later." Mitch answered, turning to Jerome.
"Alright biggums. I'll just go record a video or something." Jerome replied, leaving the room.
I shut the door and walked over to Mitch's bed, sitting next to him.
"What's wrong, Lachlan?" Mitch asked.
"I...I think Luna likes me." I muttered.
"Wow. I didn't expect that. Um.... I'm guessing you want to know how this is going to help us?" Mitch asked, quite surprised.
"Yeah. How is her liking me going to help anyone?" I asked.
"Well. Let me invite Kenny over for a little favor. I'm surprised that he has kept his promise after all of these years." Mitch responded.
"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.
"We have a way of expressing love and way that we do it. I had Kenny block that out of everyone's minds a long time ago. Me and Ali-A are the only ones who know. Well, and Kenny. But Lachlan, do you love her?" Mitch explained.
"I don't know. I can't feel anything for anyone." I responded.
"No worries, Kenny will explain how it works for your case. If and when she chooses anyone that she loves, it will mean she has sided with us. That should break the spell, or curse that Ali has set on us." Mitch explained.
"Oh." I mumbled.
Yes. I'm back, for now anyways. I will try to squeeze in chapters whenever I can. Hope you enjoyed this though.
