Chapter 18

Lorena's POV

I felt horrible after that. I couldn't concentrate through the whole thing. It seems that Lakshmi knew that Zayn cheated on her but they were still together. From what i'd learnt she doesn't take shit from anyone. And yet she stays with him. I think that they were together to start with but then they broke up and management made them lie. But even then my friendship came before Zayn. I did love Zayn once. I lost my virginity to him and we dated, though not in that order. But then he cheated on me with a girl two years younger than us and then we broke up. That's when I earnt my rep for being a slut. But since then I hated Zayn and I wanted revenge and I wanted to destroy his relationship. But then I started to fall for him again and then when he cut it of I hated him even more. And I hated his girlfriend until I met her. She was sweet and understanding and even my brother had a thing for her. She even offered to pay for my abortion which was a massive deal. And because of me her relationship was ruined.

"Why don't you hate me?" I asked her. She looked up from her cheese bites.

"Because you didn't cheat, he did. And that's history anyways you are my friend", she says and she steals one of my cheese bites after she finishes hers, "so are you definitely going for an abortion?", she asks me and I nod. This is what I wanted. If I had the baby I would ruin its life and mine this was the best choice.

"I can book you an appointment", she offers and I obviously look confused, "my dads friend is a gaenacologist so I can get you one whenever you want", she explains and I nod.

"Can you get one after school today?", I ask and she blinks.

"Today? Are you sure?", she asks and I nod my head. I didn't want time to think about it. She excuses herself and calls her aunty.

"Done, and i'll come with you", she says. She thinks that Zayn won't come or pay. It's ovbious she doesn't trust him anymore. and after he almost slapped me she doesn't even respect him anymore.

"Thank you", I say and she smiles. She get's a phonecall and I sit and accidently on pupose listen in, what can I say? I'm nosey. Harry needs her to come over immediately before class apparantly. We have 45 minutes so we go.

The flat is very big and modern. Well what else would you expect from Harry Styles? The four boys were there sitting around the table. They didn't even smile when we walked in.

"Please sit", Louis says and we do.

"Am I in trouble?" Lakshmi asks to Harry. when she looks at him she has the same look i share with Luc.

"Not really", Harry replies, "Who is this?" he asks pointing to me.

"This is Lorena, my friend. You can talk in front of her it's fine", Lakshmi says and i smile. All their faces harden when they hear this.

"She's the girl Zayn cheated on you with", Niall tells her and I look down. All of them know as well. It was a mistake but noone will let me forget it.

"I know that and i'm fine with it and you are going to be as well, all of you", she says firmly and they nod. Sometimes she can be very scary and the boys all know that.

"Well the problem is that we're very worried about Zayn", a boy called Liam says, "since you broke up he's been out getting wasted every night and when you invited him to the interview he was so happy. He loves you and we think it's best for you to take him back. He told us about what happened this morning and he was drunk. Please take him back", It's clear to see that all of the boys are worried bout his boy but they are also worried about Lakshmi. I like reading people and these boys are very easy.

"Yeah that's not my problem. I can't take him back out of pity you know. I need to love him.

"As much as I hate to say this you do love him", the blond one says, "you changed so much when you broke up and even now I can see the pain whenever you talk about him. You can hide it as much as you want, but we know you better than you know youself. You love him still and every second you're apart it hurts right?" The boy Niall I think, seems to be very clever. A single tear rolls down her cheeks but she wipes it away quickly.

"What do you thiink harry?" She asks the curly boy and he looks up.

"I think you should do it", he says and she nods. They all get up from the table. The doorbell rings and I go to open it. A girl about our age is at the door. She is tall and looks Chinese in ethnicity. I don't know who it is.

"Hi who are you?" I ask her and she looks confused.

"I'm Liberty, Niall's girlfriend can I come in?" she asks and I let her in hoping she wasn't some crazy fangirl who had gotten the address of the boys. But this was Harry and Louis' flat and she knew that Niall was going to be here so I let her in.

When we both walked in everyone looked up at us. They were all confused I could tell. "Liberty?" Niall asks her and all their eyes widen.

"You're Liberty? The girl Niall won't shut up about?" Liam asks causing both of them to blush.

"Yes probably", her strong accent is very clear. I don't think she speaks very good english.

"What ethnicity are you?" Louis asks and they all give him evil glares.

"How do you say? ling guo?" she asks. They all scratch their heads and Niall even doesn't know so he is equally interested.

"Chinese", Lakshmi says and everyone looks at her. I'm surprised they don't know that she speaks mandarin.

"Well I think we would all like to get to know you. You've made Niall very happy", Liam says and Niall blushes again.

"I would like that", Liberty says. Lakshmi and her start talking in Mandarin and the boys resigned to the sofa making sure I had no room. I sat on the floor in front of them and they completely ignored me. Soon Liam came and sat by me. He gave me a massive smile which was kind of creeping me out.

"Hi?", I said well asked him and he returned it. He kept smiling.

"You're weird", I said and nudged him on the arm.

"If you say so", he says and nudges me. We start a conversation about random things and we still get dirty looks from the other boys. But Liam is kind to me and I'm happy about that. At quarter to eleven Lakshmi and I leave for uni.

At school we had already formed a group. There were four of us and it was me and Lakshmi and Luc and Alec. Luc and Alec were above us but they had no problem with hanging out with us. After school a girl called Rhine came up to us. I was really shocked. She was a bitch and int wanted to hang out with he to start with because Lakshmi knew one direction. When she came she came up to us she looked very irritated. "Would you like to come to a party at my friend's house tonight?", she asks. Well you didn't hear that everyday. Lakshmi looks at me to answer.

"No thanks I'm washing my hair", I say and she walks of in a huff after stamping her foot angrily on the floor. We both start laughing at her.

"Are you ready?", Lakshmi asks and I nod.

The doctors surgery is clean and smells like anti bacteria. There are several pregnant women in the building, all with their partners and a few are giving me dirty looks. "Lorena James", the lady calls and I walk into the clinic with her.

When I walk out of the room I feel like a massive weight has been taken of me. I don't have to worry about looking after a baby or about money problems. This was the best decision and I had made it. Lakshmi came over to my side. "Are you ok?", she asked and I nodded. She smiled and went to pay.

"You didn't have to do that", I told her and she looks up at me even though she was driving. I had to admit her driving wasn't the best, but she hasn't killed anyone yet.

"It's ok, money will come and go but a true friend is forever", she says and looks back to the road which is traveling past us at a faster speed than I would like.

She drops me of at the university because I live in the accommodations and then she goes home.
