When I awoke, I was not in my bed. I was hoping it would all be a bad dream but it was not.

I felt a sharp pain in my lower stomach as I tried to get up. My heart monitor started ringing, a nurse quickly ran in and pinned me down. This time it was not a small petite woman, it was a young man.

They must have knew that a small woman could not pin me down so they sent him.

I tried to speak but nothing came out. My lips were dry, and my throat felt as though it was closing up.

I saw a cup of water on the nightstand, I quickly grabbed it and dowsed the whole thing.

"Miss," the young man started, "You shouldn't be awake. You need to get plenty of sleep for you to heal."

"I don't want to sleep." I mumbled. I didn't expect him to hear me but somehow he did.

"I'll make you a deal." He started. "You sleep, and someday when you feel better I can take you for a walk. You would have to be in a wheelchair but eh, it's better than nothing."I quickly processed the idea and nodded my head yes.

I let my body relax and soon enough I fell asleep.

(Louis POV)

I sat there, waiting till I could go in the room. The doctors and nurses had told me I could not go in because she was not stable enough to see me.

I knew this was my fault, they knew it too, but they had no idea how much it was killing me. I sat outside her room, where a big window was, and quietly watched her sleep. It was now almost three o'clock and she was still asleep.

She needed it though. She's been through a lot, and she needed to relax.

Of course a hospital bed would not be as good as her own bed but it was better than nothing.

I was sitting there quietly, staring at my hands. I heard a loud beeping coming from her room.

Fear took over my body, my hands trembling.

I look in the room to find her sitting up, holding her stomach, a look of panic and pain written on her face.

I wanted to comfort her so bad, but I could not, for it was me who caused her the pain.

I saw a man walk in her room, a doctor.

I saw her look over to him, opening her mouth to speak.

She looked around frantically, grabbing a glass of water. She drank it quickly and set the cup down.

I saw the man talk but I could not hear him. She nodded her head, and gently laid down as the man left.

I stopped him before he could get away from me.

"What did you say?" I asked him. He looked angry at me.

"Why do you care?" He snapped, "You caused her this pain and yet you act like you care about her. It's your fault she's here. So why should I tell you anything?"

He was right, but I was hurting also. I hated seeing her like this, and knowing I caused it made it worse.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." I said sympathetically. I couldn't even look this man in the eyes, so I looked at my feet, finding them quite interesting.

"What's your name?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Liam," He responded, "Liam Payne."
