 Noelle P.O.V.

I'm sure that Bethany saw me. Actually, I'm positive, she did see me. But me being the idiot that I am ducked behind the carriage at the last moment.

I saw Bethany lean over a little bit to see if it really was me. I started to slowly walked backwards looking across the street. She started to cross the street when I hit a clothing rack that was outside of a store.

I fell back, with the clothes on the rack on top of me. I heard someone run over to me, it was probably Bethany. She uncovered me and looked at me in surprise.

"Elle? Tragic. Are you okay?" she asked, grabbing my hand and helping me up.

"Um yea I am, thanks."

"Tell me that baby is not yours." she said, peering over at the carriage that was holding my little Katy.

"Noo, of course not." I replied. Knowing her and her big mouth, she would probably tell Michael if I told her that Katy was mine. And I did not need Michael dropping out of school to help me raise her.

"So you're a nanny now?"

"uh Yea! Ya know it makes good money."

"But, I thought you were going to Boston with Michael. What happened with that?"

"Oh no, I realized that children are the only education that you need. Why go to school when I can just get paid for what I've basically been doing my entire life?"

"So who's the dad?" she said with a knowing smirk. She leaned down to get a good look at Katy when suddenly Katy reached up and grabbed her hair.

"Oh my gosh! Help!" she yelled.

"Yea Katy, pull that hair like there's no tomorrow." I whispered to myself. When Katy finally let go, I grabbed the carriage and started to run back home.

"Bye then!" she yelled after me.

(next day)

I took Katy's freshly washed and dried clothes out of the dryer. I brought her pink onesie up to my nose and inhaled. Babies smell like heaven.

I put her clothes into a small basket and and walked to the living room. I started folding her clothes, setting the folded clothing onto the couch.

Katy and my family left for the park, even though all she could really do is look around in her carriage.

I was folding my second to last piece of clothing when I heard a knock on the front door. I was the only person home. I knew it wasn't my family because they had a key. It's probably Michael's sister.

I walked over to the front door, preparing to see Katie. But instead I was met with the familiar green eyes I grew up with.

"Michael? What are you doing here? You were supposed to come in a couple months." I said making sure that he could only see myself and not the horrendous house that had baby things littering the floors.

"I'm just back for the weekend. I thought I could surprise you." he said with a small smile. I looked at him, taking everything in.

He cut his hair, I never thought he would do it. But it made him look cuter, not that I find him attractive or anything.

"That's great! And I really wasn't expecting this! How about we go for a cup of coffee, yea?" I asked him, quickly grabbing my coat and tried to leave.

"Nah, we can stay here. Make some tea." I nodded in response and handed him my coat before entering back inside of the house. He turned around to shut the door behind him and I quickly scooped the diapers off of the floor.

I ran into the next room over and threw them behind the door. I hid her bouncer along with her toys behind the door as well.

"So what have you been up to?" he called from the foyer.

"Oh just the same old same old. Nice haircut by the way."

"Yea thanks." he said with a big smile. I swept the folded clothes off of the couch and into the basket, running to put them out of Mikey's sight.

"Are you okay, Elle? You seem stressed."

"Um no, I just didn't expect any company today that's all." I replied running past him into the kitchen with him closely following behind me.

"So how is it over there?" I said, grabbing the nearest towel and placing it over the sink to cover Katy's bottles.

"It's great. Sucks that you couldn't come with me though." he answered. I quickly hid stuff out of his sight so that he wouldn't know about Katy. I really hope that Bethany didn't snitch on me.

"Sooo where do you find these breast pump thingy's anyways? They look so hard to work." he asked.

"Yea they're a total nightmare." I answered before completely stopping what I was doing. I slowly turned around to face a not happy Michael, tossing the breast pump in his hands.

"How did you-"

"Bethany."

"I-I was going to tell you Mikey, I really was I promise."

"When?" he asked setting the pump down before crossing his arms over his chest,

"Well I didn't want to hold you back. You have your own life to live, I didn't want you to help me with mine." I felt the tears slowly starting to run down my face.

"I'm sorry Mikey, I really am." He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my small body. He rocked us back and forth, just like he did when we were at the airport before his departure.

"I forgive you, Elle. Please don't cry. You know I hate it when you cry." he whispered into my hair. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer to me, sobs starting to erupt from my chest.

"It's okay, Elle. It's okay. We're going to be just fine." he said before pulling apart. He wiped my tears away with the pads of his thumbs. He then leaned forward and kissed my forehead.

"No more crying, okay Elle?"

Michael P.O.V.

"You look more prettier that way."
