4 years later

I woke up to the sound of my bedroom door hitting the wall and Katy calling my name.

"Mommy Mommy! Today's my first day of school!" she yelled, jumping up and down in my bedroom doorway. She was ready to go, her uniform on and her bag on her back. The only thing was that her shoes were on the wrong feet.

I quickly sat up in my bed to realize that there was a man lying next to me and that I was handcuffed to my bed frame. The man slowly started to wake up, his arms stretching showing the muscles in his arms. He opened his eyes and I noticed that it was Calum Hood, the police officer that always chatted me up every time I went to the bar.

When Calum saw Katy standing by the door, he quickly got up and threw the covers off of him. He walked to the bottom of my bed and there laid his uniform.

"Mommy, why is Officer Hood in your room?" she asked, not understanding what went down last night.

"Uh some beds have been stolen. Isn't that weird?"

"Yea!"

"Well Officer Hood was just making sure that my bed didn't get stolen as well. Isn't that right Calum." I said glaring at him. Last night I told him that he couldn't crash here, but he did anyways.

"Um, yea." he said nervously, fixing his belt.

"Do you see this?" I asked Katy, shaking the arm that was handcuffed to my bed.

"Yes Mommy."

"This way no one can steal ours."

"Oh. Officer Hood are you my Daddy?" she asked, rocking back and forth. My eyes bulged out of my head, Calum's as well. If Calum was drinking some kind of tea or coffee, this would be the moment that he'll spit it out.

"N-No he's not your Daddy, baby. He's just helping Mommy out a little bit, okay?"

"Mhmm." Calum went over to where I was and grabbed the key off of the nightstand. He tried to unlock the handcuffs, it didn't work.

"Fuck, I grabbed the wrong key."

I ended up having to take Katy to school with the top bed piece dragging behind me. I hit Katy in the head numerous times and everyone we passed by pointed and laughed.

I couldn't even walk into her classroom because of stupid Calum bringing the wrong stupid key

Remind me to never hook up with a police officer again.

okay i know i know. this is a really short chapter. but, i'm going to update two more times today so be on the look out for them. you guys knew that i couldn't leave my hubby out of this book for long! XD 

you guys should already know that i'm calum af. XD but anywayyssss be ready for these chapters. i hoped you voted and commented! :-)
