The chase

-Anika's P.O.V

My throat was dry. I was out of breath grasping air as I ran in the heat. My feet were sore. I was coated in sweat and blood from all the scratches I got from the trees. My mind was racing. What if he found her. What if my sister is already gone. I stopped then ran again, but faster. Stop thinking like this Anika you have to be tough. Aidan and Zack were cleaning up the tent and going to meet me there. I told them exactly where to go. If they got lost then I told the boys to signal me. I reached the end of the forest and saw the ruins of the gates. I spared no extra time and ran. I didn't look at the village because I knew this was only the old one. A new one was built because the lord when missing. I kept on running and reached a gate. There was a female guard standing there and I ran passed her. She yelled at me to come back, but I didn't.

-Emma's P.O.V

I walked towards Aphmau hoping she would notice me without any trouble.
She looked straight at me with hope."Hello there you must be Emma."
I walked over to the bed she was at and sat down."You must be Aphmau. Hi I see Aaron had told you about me."
She smiles."I am so glad I can talk to you. I have a question. Are you really the daughter of Irene."
I looked over at Aaron. He told her. I can't believe he told her. I sighed. At least I don't have to tell her."yes I am and I need to ask you. Did you or did you not absorb the relic in the Irene's dimension."
Aphmau gave me a worry look."Yes I did. Can you please help me"
I looked at her with hope. I was going to say yes, but someone interrupted me.

-Anika's P.O.V

I was running first one guard was on me but then 3 guards were after me. I was losing hope that I would make is but I kept running faster and faster until my feet were burning from the pain.

-Dante's P.O.V

I was talking to kawaii-chan about family business. I told her I should get get to my position as guard. I walk outside and let the slight breeze wash over me. I see a girl that is unknown to me running fast. Alexis was trying to run after her with full speed. "Come back here now. I followed behind her not knowing what I was chasing and why.

-Laurence's P.O.V

I had the worse day ever, but I can finally sit down. First I had to help Aphmau with her packing. Next I had to pack myself. Then Kawaii chan gets me to help her with cooking, which I had no idea how to do. Then a blonde lady comes in to see Aphmau. That I didn't mind much since she was nice, but now I get to sit down and res.... "Come here lady and tell me your name."
I heard Alexis yelling at something. Great, I thought. Another task. When is this going to end. I started out the treehouse and down the stairs going to Alexis' voice. I saw them and ran to Dante. "Hey Dante why are we running"
He glanced at me then back at Alexis. "I really don't know."
We both ran closer to Alexis running faster than before. "Hey Alexis why in the world are we running."
She ran faster."Because this girl slipped through the gates and ran. I have been trying to catch up to her, but she won't run out of energy." 

-Anika's P.O.V

I panicked. The guards were getting faster and I was running out of breath. I just had a few more feet and I would be with Emma. My lungs were burning from the breath and my speed was slowly decreasing, but I didn't stop to catch my breath. I got up the wooden stairs and picked up the pace. I could see the ladder and feel the wood. I climbed up the ladder with no time to spare. I got up and found Emma and Aphmau sitting on the bed staring at me with embarrassment. Well mostly Emma.
