Escaping

-Anika's P.O.V

Travis looked around to see where he was and then gasped. I waited for my dad to make his move.
My dad looked at me and Emma with evil eyes."Well lady's this is Travis my son. Sorry this is such a bad time to meet him. I didn't think this one through."
Travis looked at him and glared."What do you want and why did you take these poor young lady's."
Emma looked at him with fury."I'm sorry if the lady's you know are poor and defenseless, but that's not how it works in my town."
My dad looked at me and shook his head. Normally Emma is the one who fights back and my dad thinks its silly.
My dad started out the room."I am sorry I have to leave there is something I need to do."
My rage was building up. I just wanted to punch him. He had already caused enough damage as it is. I started to pull the rope so it would loosen up, but nothing was working.
Travis looked at me."You know that will never work. It's hard to pull apart rope."
His sentence only made me want to try harder."Look I know you don't know me, but don't ever underestimate me."

-Emma's P.O.V

I felt something in my boot. It was a knife. I was tried and I want to sleep. Since my hand were tied I pried off one of my boots and used my foot to get the object out of my other boot. Anika grin and Travis just looked confused. I maneuvered the knife to my back somehow and cut the ropes. By the time I got mine off I heard footsteps near. I quickly cut Anika's and Travis's rope. It didn't take me that long since I could use my hands. We started out the other entrance when I felt a terrible pain on my leg and I fell to the ground."Anika go with out me." I saw my dad walk towards me with anger. Fear covered my eyes as I struggled to get to my feet. My mind was racing and I felt like giving up, but I didn't. The demon warlock was at my feet and started to pick me up. I soon felt light headed and blacked out with pain pressing against my leg.
