           "Kagura-chan, date me!" Exclaimed Hisashi, with no inclination of  nervousness. It was as if he was ready and preparing for this moment his whole life. Hisashi smiled at Kagura's flustered and utterly confused reaction. She stayed silent for a full five minutes until Ginpachi and Shinpachi butted in, "HISASHI/HOTACHI-KUNNNN!" They yelled(obviously Gintoki was the one who got his name wrong.) "YOU JUST GOT HERE, DO YOU WANT HER DAD TO KILL-"
         They got abruptly cut off as Hisashi laughed and said, "It's Hisashi, sensei, and I got Umibozu-sama's permission before arriving here."
"Why, just tell me why I get ignored." Shinpachi cried as Yamazaki comforted him.
The girls squealed, the guys were in awe, Sougo was silent, and Kagura was still frozen with shock. Then, the inevitable happened-
        "Kagura-chan and Hisashi-kun are such a cute couple!!!" The girls squealed as Sougo silently walked to his desk. Kondo and Hijikata followed.
        "Sougo, you're seriously okay with this?" Hijikata probed.
        "It's okay, Sougo, before a man becomes a man, he must deal with heartbreak-"
        "Shut up. I'm not heartbroken. It's not like Kagu- China agreed to the damn relationship anyway." He huffed.
He's sulking. Thought Kondo.
He almost called the China girl by her name. Thought Hijikata.
       "Okay, shut up now, guys. Since Hotachi and Sofa took up our class time, it's now lunch." Ginpachi drawled. It's obvious he's going to nap during lunch.
"It's Hisashi, sensei"
"Danna, it's Sougo."
The two boys glared at each other. Blue vs yellow. Ginpachi smirked and took 'control' of the situation. "Oi, brats. Kagura didn't say yes to either of you. Look at her, she fell unconscious again 'cause of you guys. Now, who wants to take her to the nurse's office? Sofa? Or Hotachi? Surely neither of you want to let one another take her. Now, decide. Ja ne." Ginpachi left the room and the class fell cold from the icy atmosphere Ginpachi left the boys in.
"Well it's obvious China wants me to take her. I mean, she's fallen for me, so when she wakes up in my arms she'll die from a heart attack, and I'll be free of that beast," Sougo sneered.
"Wanting to make your fantasies a reality, Okita? Kagura-chan will be my girlfriend soon, and I asked for her dads permission. She despises you as well, so why don't I do you a favour and keep her out of your sight? Isn't that want you want? After all, she's to be all mine soon." Hisashi smirked when he saw Sougo's agitated expression.
"Pfft. Please, it'll be a century before you can take China's hand in dating or marriage. She'd be looking for me." Sougo stuck out his tongue. "Not to mention, she's going to probably want to marry her own kind. Yato."
Hisashi scoffed and picked up Kagura. The class once again, looked in awe as they once again chased each other around the room. This time, Hijikata had just about enough.
"STOP, BRATS, IM TAKING HER!" Hijikata tore Kagura from Hisashi's arms and left. The class was now in a confused/excited/angered state. Sougo and Hisashi being the ones in that angered state. Hijikata and Kagura were gone the entire lunch period. And Otae never lost sight of how the two boys glanced at the clock or door every five seconds while eating. In fact, everyone saw the paranoid looks on their faces. Otae decided to call over her two best friends. Sarutobi and Kyuubei.
"Hehehe isn't this a nice scene, guys? Maybe Okita-kun will finally admit his feelings!" Otae gawked.
"Uh, Tae-chan, isn't this going too far?" Asked Kyuubei, worried. "I mean, shouldn't we stop them?"
"Nonsense, Kyuubei, you wouldn't do that to me and Gin-san, would you?" Sarutobi giggled.
"I've tried, Sarutobi." Kyuubei sighed.
"Shh. I think Hijikata-San and Kagura-chan are back!" Otae whispered.
Hisashi and Sougo nearly sprang up when the doors opened. In came Kagura and Hijikata.
"She's fine, guys she just fainted from surprise apparently." Hijikata said.
"Kagura-chan, do you have an answer to me?" Hisashi asked, after immediately springing up to greet her. Sougo followed after.
"I-I don't know. I feel that stupid Sadist over there would be a real pain in the a**, and that is my only reason why I don't want to. But I do know," she walked over to Hisashi and kissed him on the cheek, "that if I were my old self, I would've said yes so fast."
Hisashi's head blew up with embarrassment and happiness. The class gasped.
Sougo felt a pang of pain when she did that. However, the fact that she said 'no' healed the pain quickly. I would've been the biggest pain in the a**, Kagura. He thought. Absentmindedly, Okita Sougo smiled the smallest bit, and only one person caught it.
Kagura. She walked up to him and whispered, "I'll say yes to him unless you admit who you like in this class."
     "I don't like anyone, China..." He sweat dropped when Kagura pouted. Stop it, stop making that-that ugly face. He groaned then said, "F*ck off, China...Please."
     "Gross. Don't act out of character, Sadist.Or perhaps you're a masochiest now, hm?"
She spun around and grabbed Hisashi. Then, she pointed at Sougo, "Sadist, Hisashi, treat me out."
Damn it, China. You're turning it into a contest, huh? Fine, but when I win, I'm going to have to get baldy's blessing. That's right, China, I'm gonna marry you, and you can't escape me! Let's see who knows you better, cause I've known you since we were twelve. Get ready for pure hell, Kagura. Sougo laughed inwardly, as he got out his wallet.
      "Oi, Hisashi, you got a lot of money?" Sougo asked when they reached the cafeteria.
      "Hmph, reasonable amount, why?"
      "How the hell are you gonna treat out China?"
