Brokenstar's POV

(Brokenstar's dreaming by the way. She passed out from a panic attack and is in the medicine cat den.)

My vision swirls until landing on a glimmering white tom, it takes me only a heartbeat of staring at the gleaming white pelt with the gray rings to recognize him. "YOU!", I snarl without even trying. I am scared of my own power coming loose like this. I always loved my father until he denied me respect, but even still he meant the world to me. As I leap with great power and agility, I am surprised to discover that I did not soar right through my father's spirit. Instead we are both knocked to the undergrowth of the Starclan pine forest. "Am I dead too?!", I shriek at my father lying underneath my unsheathed claw to his throat again, this is the exact position that took away all remaining five lives he had and he knows it. Snowstar only replies with a calm, "You are not dead, you are sleeping heavily from anxiety. If you were really dead, don't you think I would have brought your family?". "I suppose, but I don't see why you would bother. I'm going to the dark forest, you already showed me, remember?". "Wrong again little one, but I do have a great deal to tell you about Lunastar", he says as his deep teal eyes begin to glow brighter than before....

She still thinks you are still in there somewhere, and she won't give up on you till you know that. She wants to know that not everyone think you're a monster. But you've pushed her away since apprenticeship, always feeling it was her. She blamed herself too and when I was alive I wanted to make things better, but I never could get you both to talk without you know that I was trying something. That's when I noticed the shadow behind you... I would recognize it anywhere and it's worse than I feared. I always knew that you'd hear voices, you would talk to yourself when you thought you were alone as a kit and apprentice. That was Darkheart, my brother and your uncle. He died shortly before you were born in the same battle where I became leader. I should have stopped him I'm sorry, that's why you killed me. He was guiding your paws through your subconscious mind, not you. We always hated each other, it's not hard to imagine why he wanted me dead. And the same might happen to Lunastar, you, and your kits. I will try to guide you through your dreams, but you must heed my warnings, dear daughter...

Snowstars POV

I twitch my tail, telling my daughter to come closer. As she settles in front of me, tears start to roll from the bloody eyes down the dark fur. I twitch my tail for a second time, beckoning the she cat behind me. "Hello, sister", my other daughter says softly. Being careful around Brokenstar, she settles down beside her, stroking her fur with her fluffy silver tail. The sisters start to touch forheads as they both start waking up, "Meet me in the clearing by the two borders and we shall see each other again.", they greet each other fairwell as they return to their clans and responsibilities on yet another day.

"My work here is done for the night, til tomorrow night my little warriors ", I say softly as they are gone......
