It feels good waking up in your Home, in your room, in your bed.

It’s been two months since I’m back at Philippines. I take a deep breath remembering what happened to me at Seoul. I never told Mom about the marriage thing since i called it off. What for? There will be No Wedding to discuss too. I remember Dad. I know he’s disappointed at me right now. I run away from my wedding. I left them hanging there. I left without saying a word. I never let them to say goodbye. Now, I’m missing Dad, Ms. Chaerin and of course Hyunjae. They’re part of my life then since i came and acknowledge by Dad. I’m missing Seoul hugging my skin, the cold breeze blowing into my veins next to my bones. The scenery you’ll never refuse to see in every part of your life. The Han River that glows amusingly and gracefully changing its lights color, very catchy to your eyes. Its romantic watching and by just walking on the sides of the river together with your love ones. Jiyong once brought me there near at a restaurant that one evening and we’re discussing about our Wedding. Jiyong. I shiver at the thoughts. What is Jiyong doing right now? Does his life back at normal when I’m now gone by his sight?

I pause for my deep thought when someone knocks at my door.

“Dara…you already wake. Good Morning”

“Good Morning Mom”

“How’s your sleep?”

“Better than ever.” I smiled at her to reassure her because I don’t want to talk about it. Again.

“Good. Head up. Your breakfast is already done at the table. Come eat.”

“Surely Mom. You know how I really missed your cooking eh?” She grins. Because it’s true. The day I came back, she always cooks meals for me. When Mom is cooking our food it’s like I eat with there is no tomorrow. Pig out! Well, she really cooks so well and no daughter or son would not really love how their moms cook meals right?

“Oh, by the way Dara. There is a delivery for you. I place them in the Anteroom. If you want to put them in your room, it’s okay.”

“Thanks Mom. Are you heading now to your Shop?”

“Yes. You wanna come? I think it’s time for you to come out just like what other girls enjoy their lives.”

“Nope. Bom and I have plans today and tomorrow I think. She’ll come here later.”

“Oh that’s good Baby girl. I like you going out with Bom. You know.” I know what she’s thinking. About boys.

“Mom” I scowl.

“Okay. I’m out. You can take your Audi with you but please take care of yourself? The last time you drive your car, you almost hit a tree! Thanks God you’re not hurt.”

“Mom, it was just a tree for heaven sake.”

“Honey, yeah trees are just trees. It only stands there whenever they got old or something but what you did was still dangerous.” I was excited and driving my new Audi that Mom gave me for my birthday as a gift. I was driving through the road of our village when a dog running passes through my car. I panicked and I turn the steering wheel and it was late for me to realize to put on my feet in the break. Luckily I thought the tree never wanted his body bruised and ruined by some girl who is reckless in driving and take some magic so I won’t hit him.

“You’re going nuts Jiyeon Park!”

“Hey! Don’t call me that. I’m your mother.”
