Liu had been left feeling like shit to say the least. This experience was probably the worst of his life. Yet again, he was left alone, Jeffrey busy dumping off a body. Liu didn't think it would take three days, but it did.
When Jeffrey did return, Liu continued to ignore him. A bitterness had been planted in him. He felt trapped and alone, like all hope was gone and rage was his only confider.
"Look, you can't be mad at me forever", his deep voice stated. To Liu it was more of a command.
Liu just crossed his arms, finding security in wrapping himself up in the scarf. It was ridiculous since Jeffrey proved that it would only work against him.
"Hey! I'm talking. At least look at me." Jeffrey gripped Liu's face, forcing him to do so. Liu averted his eyes, brows furrowed to make it obvious he was upset.
"Liu... You came here knowing full and well what had happened! I tried to kill you, remember? I killed the family for Christ sakes!"
Liu jerked away, standing up and cowering over his brother. From Jeffrey's perspective, the shadowing made Liu look menacing.
"And was it wrong to think you'd change? Was it wrong to believe what I was told? That forgiveness would lead to healing!"
Liu looked like he was on the verge of tears. He took in an awkward breath, holding back his cries.
Jeffrey stood up, a look of superiority on his face.
"Not wrong", he started. "Just completely stupid. Hello! I kill people! You think I give a damn about any of this! You want to leave? Leave! Just don't complain if you get killed!"
Liu looked at him in shock. Before he could stop himself, he socked Jeffrey in the face. Jeffrey gripped his jaw, looking at Liu with a piercing gaze.
"Now now, let's not get hasty", Jeffrey said rearing his shoulder.
With all his strength, Jeffrey punched Liu right back, causing him to fall over himself. Liu held his cheek with both hands, curled up on the ground.
"So weak and pathetic." Jeffrey shivered with excitement. "Just how I imagined you looking when I tried to kill you the first time. But then, little baby Liu was asleep."
Jeffrey crouched down next to his curled up brother, grabbing a knife from his belt loop.
"You going to cry this time? I've been craving to see those tears", he said sadistically.
Liu couldn't look at him. Couldn't say anything. He felt defenseless. Now he was going to be another victim of Jeffrey Woods. Suffer the same fate as the woman and the man he had hurt.
Jeffrey's grin grew wider seeing tears spilling over. He wiped them with his fingers, licking his hand afterwards.
"Salty... Well, maybe you aren't as sweet as you seem."
Taking the knife, he began cutting up Liu's face. A cut across the bridge of his nose. One down his left eye. Slanted lines across the forehead.
"You know, maybe Jack would have been right to take your organs."
Jeffrey turned his brother over, slicing through his shirt and chest. Luckily it wasn't deep enough to spill his organs.
Liu continued to cry and whimper, Jeffrey enjoying every second of cutting his brother up. There were red slices over his abdomen, arms, legs, and face. It looked like he had gone through a shredder.
"I suppose this is enough for today. I wouldn't want to completely ruin my chew toy."
Jeffrey stood up, walking away from Liu. He passed the shelf that contained all of Liu's food.
"I'll be taking this too."
Liu lay, watching his brother walk away. He wanted to feel anger and hate. He knew he should. He was just to weak to care at the moment.
A loud noise scared Liu. At first he couldn't identify it. When it happened again, but in another spot, fear took over. Jeffrey was locking him in with a deadbolt. Liu didn't have keys to open them.
Adrenaline rushed through as he stood up. His head was light and he felt woozy. Liu had to grip onto the racks and crates for support.
Every step was like a knife slicing him again. The wounds opened and closed anytime he moved. It was so much pain, he almost opted for sitting down again. The excessive blood painting his skin wasn't helping either.
Finally, after enduring excruciating pain, he reached the door Jeffrey left through. He attempted to open, but too much strength hurt his limbs. The pull was just enough to recognize that it wouldn't open.
Maybe he would of devised a plan, but he couldn't think. The pain was just too much. Instead, he slumped against the door, crying again and letting the tears sting his face.
He had no food. He was scared he may bleed out. Jeffrey was gone and he couldn't escape.
Now he was truly trapped and alone.
