Jeffrey managed to knock Liu unconscious and drag him all the way back to the warehouse. He felt misfortunate at the loss of a beautiful tragedy. Oh to torture the dear girl in front of his brother. The thought alone gave him satisfying chills.
Treacherous hours passed before the unconscious Liu awoke to the throbbing pain in his head, precisely his temple. His memory was as blurry as his vision at the moment. He held his head between his hands, wishing for the pain to subside.
Footsteps neared him. Slowly. Threatening. He dared look up, greeted by an unnerving smile. The smile of his sadistic brother. But where was Hazel? Wasn't he suppose to be at Jack's? Had it all been a dream?
"Have a nice nap brother? Glad to see me again?" His voice was cold and demeaning.
Liu looked at him terrified, rage soon taking hold. His eyes shed their tears, his vision not as obscured. An angered scream rushed from his lips, Liu charging at his brother. His brother dodged, allowing Liu to crash to the floor.
"How pathetic", he laughed.
While Liu lay on his stomach in sudden defeat, Jeffrey sat on his back. Tightly he knotted his fingers into the sandy hair of his brother. It felt soft and well cared for.
"Oh, Jack must take very good care of you huh? He was always a softy. Never killed intentionally..."
Jeffrey yanked Liu's tear soaked face off the floor. There was no squirming or writhing. He just laid there, simply taking his brother's abuse.
"Don't do this to me Liu", he said in a faked upset voice. If he could pout he probably would.
"I just want to have some fun again. I miss my toy. I want to play again. And when you're tired I'll properly put you to sleep this time."
His voice was coated in poison, as if his death was meant to happen before. Liu felt the knife press deep between his shoulders blades. After months without getting this pain, it seemed more extreme than ever. He didn't want to give into Jeffrey's satisfaction though.
It was obvious the lack of reaction was pissing Jeffrey off. He slammed Liu's head to the ground, smashing his face like a bug.
"Don't be a brat! Scream! Cry! Do something besides lie there!"
Liu lifted his brother off the floor, forcing him to face Jeffrey. Tightly he squeezed his jaw, wishing it wold crack. A smile crept onto Liu's face, only making Jeffrey more upset.
"You wanna smile huh?! I'll make sure to give you a permanent on then! Make sure it'll never close this time!"
Hastily he slashed the corners of Liu's mouth, anger controlling him rather than pleasure. So badly Liu wanted to whimper and cry out, but he held back. He clenched his teeth, curled his toes, anything to keep a noise from leaving his mouth.
When Jeffery threw him to the ground, Liu felt a wave of satisfaction. The idea of being unresponsive so his brother would become bored seemed to work. Doubt flooded him when Jeffrey returned, a rope in hand.
Hopeless, Liu allowed himself to panic. How foolish was he to think that Jeffrey would actually leave him be! He scrambled to his feet, running to a door, tugging desperately on it.
"Have you forgotten who I am? What I do? I'm not dumb enough to leave it unlocked."
Jeffrey pulled out the key from his pocket, waggling it in the air. He slipped it back in, messing with the rope now. He jumped on his brother, forcing his body to the door. Quickly he tied his hands up, dragging him on the ground like a dead dog.
"I've decided to give you a fair chance. In fact, I'll leave the key on you. I will leave this place for a few days. If you can't escape, you will be mine."
Liu knew there was a catch. Knew that this was a lie. All his thoughts were confirmed when he was tied to a sturdy rack. His hands and feet were tied to the bar, allowing no movement.
"Now let's get this out of the way", Jeffrey spoke as he sliced at Liu's shirt. It fell open, beads of blood following. His entire abdomen was filled with the previous cuts his brother had given him.
"I said I would leave the key, and I'm a man of my word. Just let me prepare its shelter."
Liu kept quiet, silently weeping. He knew nothing of what would happen to him. All he knew is that it would be treacherous and painful. Every gesture from his brother was.
Knife in hand, Jeffrey cut at the flesh of Liu's stomach. Layer after layer he cut, flesh, tissue, muscle, all discarded to the floor. Liu was biting his lip so hard he feared it'd fall off.
"Shall we move some organs out of the way too? I would think the key wants to be cozy?"
Jeffrey stuck his hand in Liu's exposed stomach. Finally Liu screamed, the feel of his brother's hand being the breaking point. He could feel it all, and it felt like hell.
"That's it. That's all I wanted to hear."
Jeffrey sounded so pleased with himself, Liu wanted to vomit. He dug around his pockets, pulling out the key from before. Plunging his hand in, he poked around, finally deciding to hang it on his rib.
"That seems a good spot, don't you think? Hope it doesn't infect anything."
Jeffrey laughed a hellish laugh, slinking away from the scene. Apparently the door Liu hadn't used was actually unlocked. He felt so much despair and hate. How badly he wished to murder his brother. Just to seem him suffer just as he did.
"See you in a few days brother", came the taunting, deep voice.
There was a loud click and he was gone.
