Planted seeds
You planted the seed
and watched it grow
kept adding little pieces
at each cross road
Protecting me from danger
you pushed everyone away
told me a couldn't trust
a single word they'd say
Finally you got what you wanted
it was just me and you
then your real colours
started to shine through
Your protection
turned to obsession
not a thing
I could do
Now I sit here
and wonder
how I fell for
someone as two-faced as you.
