never really believed in superheroes
bright, tight suits and capes
tried to believe in myself
left my destiny in the hands of fate
but then came inspiration
from an unlikely source
an awakening of creativity
a brand new life course
my son opened tired eyes
and put a pen in my hand
helped me unlock memories and feelings
he is my superman
