Sunshine on darkened days
There were times
when my life was low
darkness controlled light
there were times
I had nowhere to go
no end was in sight
but in all those times
you remained by my side
you didn't control
you didn't hate
just guided me the right way
you are my Clark Kent
I'm your Lois Lane
you brought sunshine
to my darkened days
and although you're just a normal guy
you'll always be my superman in disguise.
