May's POV

A few days have passed since i fell in the lake. Right now I'm at the hospital by the way. THEY R GONNA SEE IF I CAN WALK NOW IM SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!! I haven't heard much from James ever since we talked and I thought he loved me. Ridiculous right? "May!!!!" Jack said running into my room. "Whatttttt??!!!!!" I said mimicking his tone. " I'm extremely sorry to tell you this but, Your free we can got you can walk and do whatever you want now!" He said lifting me out of my chair into the air. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he quickly planted a small kiss my the cheek. He slowly placed me back in the chair and a frown took over his face. "Your gonna need a walker for a while." He said. I leaped up in objection but ended up collapsing in his arms. We waited for them to excuse us and then we went back to my dorm. "MAY!!!!!" Gabe, Lexa, and Bella yelled like little kids. I went and hugged each and everyone of then including Jack. I felt like something or someone was missing. "Where is James?" I asked, I mean he seemed worried when I first got hurt and ever since then he hasn't even looked at me. "Last I saw him he was in our dorm." Gabe said. "Is he ok?" I asked, I was worried. "I think. Oh and he wanted to say hi but he must've gotten sick again." Gabe replied. We all hung of for a bit and then I had to excuse myself.

James POV

Is it bad that I've been avoiding May? Ever since I tried saying I liked her everything was awkward. My thinking was interrupted by a small thud at my door and a muffed, "Shit." I went over to the door to find May on the ground by my door. "James!" She said. Staring up at me. "I'm so glad your ok." She said still sitting on the ground. "Good news! I can walk now, but just barely. I missed you! But why have you been avoiding me?" She asked as I helped her up slowly. We started walking back to her dorm when she stopped. "Why won't you talk to me. I hobbled over her to talk to you because they told me that you were sick! I'm sorry that I was trying to be a good friend and worry about you." She said furiously. I turned us around and brought her in my room. I led her to my bed and she sat down. "Why have you been avoiding me?" She asked taking a deep breath. I just sat there. "Why won't you talk to me?" What am I supposed to do? "May." I said, but she wouldn't make eye contact. "What?" She snapped. "I like you." I admitted, squeezing her hand. "Yeah I already heard." She Said making me turn red. "You wanna come to the party at my dorm?" She asked breaking the silence. "Um sure." I said helping her out of the room. When we were out side of her door I let her go so she could open the door but the unexpected happened. She collapsed and not just falling she seemed to have passed out.
