Chapter 18 A Cool Mother

I woke up the next morning I was getting up and ready to go to work.  I got in the shower and got changed into:

gray office short skirt, white low cut tank top, black tights, same black high heel  boots, and a gray scarf.

I walked downstairs to see Sugar.  She hopped up in her bed and ran over to me. 

“Hi sweetie I haven’t see you in ages” (sarcasm)

She licked me to death I finally got up.

"Hey girl let me get you some fresh food and water."

I did just that and looked at the clock.  8:04.

"What!  I must have forgotten to set my alarm.  I am late i should have been there at 8."

I quickly finished my breakfast of a bagel and ran out the door.

***

*After Work*

I finally got home after all that traffic.  I almost got fired i am on a warning if i am late one more time i will get fired.

I opened my door to the my apartment room.

I went to get changed into:

gray sweatpants and a old t-shirt.

I then did laundry.

As i was putting clean clothes in my closet i felt something made out of cardboard.

I put the clothes basket down and took out a cardboard box.

I sifted through it.

In the box was my moms old diary and photos.

I opened her old purple diary.

Her handwriting was so familiar :(

A tear ecaped from my eye.  I still missed her so much if only she knew how much i had been through!

I suddenly felt warmth as if i had actually felt her.

I read through her diary.

I gasped as i read over her paragraph again.

I almost fainted!

No way.

She couldnt be why didnt she ever tell us?
