Chapter 34 Flames

I stopped and Jason looked up.

I could tell that he was nervously shy by just the look.

"Is this why you didnt want to date me?" he asked alarmed.

"Na-na-no actually he is  just a friend" i answered.

Jason looked down at his shoes.

I didnt really want to do this i was hurting both of them.

"Listen you guys i will pick one of you but for now just be natural be yourselves and i will pick."

Knowing that Jason wasnt a ladiesman i just waved to him and picked up my bag.

I hugged Adrian and walked out of the food court.

I had a big decision to face.

*Adrian's POV*

I was walking in the food court with some of my friends.  We had just had a big basketball game and we had won. We decided to hang out at the mall.

I looked around while i listened to my friend Dustin speak.

My eye caught on someone familiar:

Kendra!

And...she was with another boy? 

  A geek if you ask me.

He had blond shaggy hair but almost looked brown.  With brown eyes and glasses.

Okay how did she end up with him?

Curiosity and jeolousy got the best of me and i found myself walking over to her table.

"Are you dating him?" i found myself saying.

She looked stunned.  I instantly felt bad for shooting words at her so suddenly and making her be in the spotlight.

I tried to say something else to calm her down.

"Is this why you didnt want to date me?" i turned out asking her but it didnt seem to be getting

"Na-na-no actually he is  just a friend" she answered nervously.

She was getting all anxious and stuttery like she usually did when talking to me.  I thought it was actually kind of cute.

"Listen you guys i will pick one of you but for now just be natural be yourselves and i will pick."

She stunned me when she said that i hadnt meant anything by the question i asked in the beginning.

She waved at Jason and hugged me walking off.

Jason just looked at me unsurely.

How did she like that geek?

He looked shy.

He stood up uncomfotably and gave me a sort of smiley glare.  I didnt think he knew was he was doing but i walked back to my table and thought about what i had just done.

*Jason's POV*

I watched as a jock with brown shaggy hair stunning green emerald eyes and freckles walk over.

"Are you dating him?" i the jock asked.

I was embarressed and stunned at him for thinking that. I definetly wasnt a ladies man but i didnt need reminding.
