Chapter 22 A boyfriend maybe?

Sorry it took so long i was away from my computer for a  long time

It also deleted a lot of times so i got really mad :(

Basically the first part i am going to summarize.

*Thursday*

She woke up ready for the big day when her babysitting business would start.

She curled her hair and wore:

white leggings pink tank top dress down to her nees.

Her mom still lives with her and does all the chores.

Her mom made omlets and she ate one and said goodbye to Sugar and her mom and left with babysitting flyers.

She went all over at different markets and grocery stores to hang up her flyers of course getting permission first.

I was really thirsty i hadnt drank anything for breakfast.

I walked into Tracy's Cafe.

The place seemed so unfamiliar and uncomfortable even though i had been there many times.

I walked throught the cafe and to a counter.

I told the man i wanted a coffee and i sat down.

I started to think about my life and how it had changed i started to feel an uncomfortable in the cafe again.

"Looks like you havent been here" said a voice to my left.

I turned my head to see a man my age he had brown shaggy hair and freckles.  He was tall and somewhat musclclar but then again i never liked the musclar kind.

"Ya-i mean- uh yes i mean" i started to stutter he was making me nervous like no other boy had.

"I am sorry i have been here before but it seems different."

He nodded. 

A waiter came by and set down a chocolate milk shake in front of the man.

"I'm sorry about the bad intro my name is Adrian."

I nodded noticing that it was my turn.

"Um-my name is-" all of a sudden my head went blank.  I was so embarressed.  I had never ever had anything like this before.

"I'm sorry" stupid i just said that.

"What i meant to say is my name is Kendra" i said smoothly.

By now Adrian's face was all confused.

"Are you sure that is your name?" asked Adrian smiling.

"Ya why wouldnt it be?" i asked all uncertain.

"Because-well-do you always stutter like that?" asked Adrian

"Have you tried Tracy's famous milk shakes?" asked Adrian.

"No" i said.

"Well, just making sure you werent unsure again" he smiled trying to make me less uncomfortable.

I started to laugh.

So did he.

By then a waitress came by and gave me my coffee.

I sipped it.

"So" he started "have you ever tried any of Tracy's famous milk shakes?" asked Adrian.

I shook my head.

He got up and came back he had a straw in his hand.

"Here" he put the straw in and gave me the milk shake.

"Are you sure" i asked him.

He nodded.

I took the milk shake and took a gulp and then i took a sip.

It was rich creamy and chocolatey.

I swallowed.

"It's awesome" i exclaimed.

His eyes lit up.

"So you really like it better than Mcdonalds."

"Yes of course it is!" i said excitedly.

He smiled.

"So i think i need to be going now" i said looking at my watch. I did of course want to stay with him but i didnt want to be late for work.

"Really?" he said sadly.

I nodded.

His eyes lit up again.  "Hey do you want to go get some pizza later today?" he asked.

"Sure how about 6 tonight.  At George's pizzeria?" i asked.

"Perfect" Adrian

I left the cafe feeling so good.  Except if he asked me to a date that wouldnt be so good.  Or was the pizza a date?
