"So how did the talk go?" i asked.

"It went well he said that he had another girlfriend so that he wouldnt have to-" she looked down and didnt finish the sentence.

I dropped her off at her house and drove home.

The next day

I woke up the hospital called and said that she would be home next week.  I was dissapointed but at least she was coming home right?

As i was about to leave for the grocery store the phone rang. 

I looked at the caller ID it was

Jason!!

My heart fluttered in my chest.

I had given him my home and cell phone number.

Oh hi uh-Kendra i was wondering if you wanted to meet me at the mall at 10:00?

 

I smiled he had actually gotten up the nerves to ask me to go to the mall :)

I looked at the time it was 8:48

i had a lot of time as in an hour.

I said good bye to Sugar and left.

I looked over my list.

I was at the check out when i noticed that the time was getting close.

I grabbed my grocery bags and ran to my car.

I turned on the engine and looked at the screen it was 9:52!

The mall was at least 15 minutes away and without traffic.

I drove off and as soon as i hit the highway the traffic started it was only 9:56!

I finally cut through the traffic and it was 2 minutes over 10.

I made it there at 10:09

That was driving as fast as i could.

The poor guy was standing at the enterance he looked quite sad but then again he always looks sad, and helpless.

Throughout the whole time we had a good time talking and chatting but what happened next made me uncomfortable.

We went to the food court.  I saw:

Adrian!

He was chatting with friends.  Like i was chattting with Jason.

He spotted me.

He walked over and he looked upset.

"Are you dating HIM?" he asked.
