Chapter 12 Hes what?!

The whole rest of the day Ross taught me how to do everything I would need to know. 

I practiced locks with the safe that was upstairs in my dads room behind a painting. Ross explained how that was really important and had every important case and money and valuable info.

I was tired the next morning realizing that I hadn't done any homework.

I went to school being shy and nervous about the new secret. Rosella one of my friends at school was telling gossip

"What is the scoop today" I asked her.

"Well, there is a new boy at school" she answered excitedly. "He's actually decent."

I looked down the hall where he was coming up the hall. He looked worried and scared. He had black converses, blue baggy jeans, a black v neck shirt and a brown wrist band. He was holding some kind of drink in the other hand. Slender frame and tan skin also muscular.  He had black straight hair that was long and shaggy with icy blue eyes!

"Wow he actually is decent."

He strolled down the hall glancing up at the boys once in a while waving. He looked around as If he were looking for someone. Then he would look down and look up to wave at the guys.

He looked up and his eyes caught mine for a minute his eyes brightened he smiled then his eyes looked worried. He looked down. He was getting closer and closer.

I turned back around and opened up my locker. Grabbing what i needed. The first bell rang.

As I was about to turn around somebody bumped into me. Something wet I was guessing water dumped into me!

"Oh sorry I am so sorry I really am!" said a deep males voice.

But something in his voice told me he wasn't really sorry. I heard Gaspes behind me. I turned around it was the new boy!

For a second my eyes just stayed on his expression. But them i remembered I was wet! I ran for the closest girls bathroom.

"Wait please I am sorry please let me help" called the same voice.

I sat down in my first semester Homeroom.

"Okay class let me just say a couple of announcements" said our Homeroom teacher Mrs. Goren.

She kept talking and talking. I wasn't really paying attention.

I walked into the next class History.

"Okay class I am doing a project and I assigned partners. Please go to those partners and then I will explain the project."

He called partners and finally I heard my name.

"Kendra and Colton."

I froze did he just say Colton?

He must have mistaken the name because there was no Colten that I knew of. I raised my hand.

"Exuse me Mr. Zanith but there isn't a Colten."

"Oh there is he is our new student and-"

I fazed after that new student it couldn't no! My cheeks burned.

Somebody was standing over me. I looked down from my desk.

Yup same black converses. I looked up Colton was there. He smiled that cute smile of his down at me.

After Mr. Zanith told us the project.

"So you really didn't know who I was or did you just say that to hurt my feelings" asked Colton smiling a smirky smile.

"I really didn't know who you were" I said calmly.

"Really because Mrs. Goren introduced me to the whole class."

My cheeks burned for the second time that day. Really he was in 2 classes and I didn't even notice!

"Oh and i am really sorry about bumping into you earlier my school doesn't do those bells."

"It's okay" in lied.

It really wasnt I didn't even make it to the stall door. Luckily nobody was there. We went on brainstorming our idea for the project. He was going to my house to work on it more.

At home I walked through the way with Ross. The same way that we ran home the day earlier.

"So" I started "Colton is coming over to the house in an hour to work on the project."

"Colton? You mean Colton Briers" he asked he seemed upset and a little bit mad.

"Yes Colton Briers. Why what's wrong?" I asked I stopped walking.

"Oh nothing there's just something that weird with him that's all."

He stopped walking too.

"How do you know?" I kept asking questions.

"Just drop it okay" he said

We worked on are project really hard actually. I was surprised by how hard of a worker Colton was! "Okay ya" I said answering him. "Would you like a lemonade or ice tea" I asked him.

"Um-ice tea please" he answered.

"Coming right up" i said.

I left the room to make the drinks. I took a tray and put them on and carried the drinks up. I walked into my room where we were working. Colton wasn't there!

I waited 5 minutes. Colton finally came back.

I was sitting on the bed legs crossed and arms crossed. He stopped when seeing me.

"I had to go to the bathroom sorry I couldn't find it and I didn't want to trouble you."

My expression softened.

"Don't worry about it."

After Colton left Ross came to talk to me. "Kendra Colton is a fake..." What Ross told me next killed me and made me have goosebumps.
