Nialls pov
I lay there silently, the beautiful view of the sun rising over the sea, reflecting all the colours across the clear blue water. I held Megan's waist cuddling her into my chest, her chest rising and falling rhythmically. The moment couldn't be more perfect.
I admired her flawless features. Her long eye lashes lay in her cheek bones as her eyes were effortlessly shut like sleeping beauty, so perfect. Yet so venerable.
"Niall what are you staring at?"
Her eyes shot open breaking the peace as I jumped back in surprise.
"Your awake?"
"Yes, I have been for hours. I couldn't sleep, I have. Never left darcy this long before. I haven't seen her in a week. What if something happens to her?"
"Babe. She is fine, harry would have rang if it wasnt."
"Okay."
Harry's pov.
I tossed and turned in bed. What the hell was I going to do? I couldn't do this to megan. She wouldn't let me. The boys would all hate me. Darcy. When she is older she will hate me for it aswell. But the boys. My future. Their future. Our future.
Darcy'a cry rang through the monitor. I got up to see Caroline wasn't in bed? Where is she?
Yes. We share a bed. We both sleep with clothes on nothing ever happens.
"Shhh your okay. I'm here. Shh." Another voice rang through the monitor. It was caroline. But her voice was soft and caring, loving and mothering. I had never seen this side to her before. Usually she didn't take much notice of darcy.
I walked to darcys room I had decorated a few weeks back. I opened the door to see Caroline cradling darcy, rocking her in her arms singing softly.
Maybe I could do this. I know Megan would hate me. And the boys would be pissed for a while but, it's one directions future I could ruin if I dont. I don't love Caroline but I have learnt to live with her and that will have to do.
"Sorry, I was going to the bathroom and I heard her cry. Hope you don't mind." Her voice remained soft and calm not whinny and annoying like usual, she kissed darcys cheek before handing her to me and going back to bed.
I had to do this, my whole life depended on it.
