Hey so by the title you have mostprobably guessed that this isn't a chapter. But you need to read it? It may not apply to you but if you are like me and care about the boys maybe you will put something up yourself, you opinion?
So lately there has been a lot of drama with one direction. The boys have been in the spot light a lot, as always.
Mainly with the film and perfume and things like that, but some very popular subject have come up and well made me think about our fandom.
First of all lets start with the television show that aired on Thursday night on channel four, crazy about one direction.
If you watched it you will know what I am about to have a little rant about but if you don't basically the programme basically got hold of a few sycophantic directioners and filmed them, I thought it was discusting. The way it generalises our whole fandom of millions on a few sycopaths. And maybe I bet they are nice girls and as a directioner I am supposed to support them but I just think we all need to take a step back and think. Are we like them, do you believe it is okay, to send death threats to people the boys care about. Stalk the boys, giving them no personal space at all. Think it's okay that you would consider taking your own life for the boys.
Watching this programme made me worry. Although I know I only have a couple hundred views on my book but to me that is a lot, to me if I can made you think twice about the whole of this rant then I will have made a difference it would t have been big but it will be skmething.
I am the type of fan that stays at home watching interviews and videos listening to their music, looking at pictures and that makes me smile, that is how I 'obsess' over the boys.
I would never ever, think it is okay to send hate, death threats and consider taking my own life for them, that is wrong and the boys won't think of you as a nice person if you do these things.
I knew this boy, he was the nicest happiest lad ever, he made such an impact on so many lives, yet he suffered with depression, alone, he killed himself. And it crushed so many people. Still now. And that wasn't over a boyband, or and engagement.
There is people who have no choice they are dying, and there is nothing they can do about it, but you girls, you people who are thinking about taking your life because of the boys not noticing you. You have a choice. You are all better than that. So so much better, don't you want to see what happens to them? How many years they last?
Please? Just don't ever, no matter what the circumstances consider it.
My next point is liam.
Liam is a real life prince charming.
Sophia, his new girlfriend.
He obviously cares about her alot.
So why? Are you fans giving her so much hate? She has done nothing wrong? All those rumours about her being the girl who rejected him 22 times? The are rumours? So until you know anything do not judge her.
Liam was the only one out of the band who took to twitter to defend us the other night that that programme aired he defended us, yet all you overly obsessive fans threw it back in his face. It broke my heart because after everything he has done for us, he is done.
Due to all the hate you have given Sophia he tweeted '#done'
You need to realise, giving her hate isn't going to make Liam like you or want to spend time with fans. You are ruining it fan everyone, yourself but mostly the fans who just sit back and support them no matter what.
So next the #zerrie engagement.
So congrats zayn and perrie so excited about this news glad they are both happy, however many girls arent.
Yesterday I was on Instagram and saw a lot of girls being nasty about the engagement. And negative.
One girl wrote something like '
'So I hate you zayn. Why are you doing this to me. I dedicated my whole life to you and your just going to forget about us. All my hardwork and dreams don't the plug hole. That's zayn, I think I might just go kill myself.'
This physically made my feel sick, bare in mind this was written by an eleven year old girl. I would be very worried if I was her parents.
My little sister is that age and upset me the fact that a girl so young said she wanted to kill herself? I don't think when they out thinks up that they understand what the are actually implying.
So I simple carried on through my feed when I came to an older girl who put a very very similar caption. This time the girl was my age so I commented.
My comment simply said.
"I Am not looking for an argument this is honestly just from another directioner as advise. Do you ever think that maybe people are being a little extreme? He is getting married, he will not forget about us or unappreciated us as without us he would never have even met perrie. He will always appreciate us just like the rest of the boys, I think it is very unfair and injustified. How you have said you hate him for getting engaged. He is happy and so if she why can't you be? Why are you making the whole situation about you. Unfair on the happy couple."
To this instantly I received so much hate. This get me since previously there had been people feeling her to die and calling he names yet nobody bothered to react or defend her, yet mind whichc was said mainly because I hate how fans make the boys feel I got threats and name calling.
This really did show me that, the fandom is still strong together yet the way we support the boys is broken.
We need to all realise the ways we are treating the boys and the people they am are about is disgusting.
Trying keeping the hate mail to yourself, don't send it, the nice we are to them they nicer they are back. If we support them they will want to spend more time and get photos and have conversations.
Just please before you do something.
