Dr. Smiley P.O.V.

It's been a couple of weeks since I had seen Sarah and her friends. For her sake, I kept out of contact with human world keeping in mind that I had work and she should never know what I truly do for her sanity. I've also been in constant alert since my employer and his minions have been keeping an eye on my movements. I became such an idiot letting my emotions getting in my way of what I do in the open. Now HE knows one of my weaknesses, it's even been a little more difficult to work now with him or his minions popping in, demanding for me to work harder, faster. Which I have been non stop. I even stop going out for a break.

Jeffery had stopped by about an hour ago. Anyway, he's been concerned about the me since things had gotten out of hand, considering he said there's been random killings and Slendy has been keeping an eye on the ones at his house knowing no one has been in California. I thought it old too, but wasn't sure if it was HIS doing. I ignored his concern and when I didn't respond he sighed saying "You know HE won't let you off the hook even if your doing his dirty work, Bruce" I still didn't respond.

He quickly gave up said his farewell, leaving me to my work.

I hate it when he's right. I thought

Quickly I cleaned up as best I could heading out for the door. I put on a casual gray dress shirt, a crimson scarf, black slacks, even pulled my long hair in a pony tail. I was already at the back door knowing that his minions had no idea about it. I swiftly moved into the shadows to avoid any detection.

It didn't take too much time to walk over the the edge of town with every step I took it felt old to even look around, but I quickly became aware that the sun was being to raise, streets still empty except for a few cars that pass by. It was peaceful after a while with content screams of death and the smell of what they left behind. Even though I don't mind those gifts I still have the sanity to be ashamed of myself then again, it was just an excuse for my mind.

After walking deeper into the city the sun gotten high. I enjoyed the suns welcome almost feel like a vampire burning in its light. But sadly I ended up in the more nicer part, where the rich laugh at the poor. It sickened me at the thought they were just sitting not giving a fuck about the less fortunate. The human race is a disgrace. Then again so is this war we have.

"Mister" a children's plead rang into my ear. I turned to the child, it wear bright colors, a long with an innocent smile that I have no longer been able to do in a long time. I kneeled down to let the child see me at its level.

It came closer grabbing my jawline smiling brighter then opened it's mouth to speak "She's the key, Mister. She will be your greatest project, so protect her with your l-" it stopped in the middle of the sentence then it let me go then ran off.

I was confused yet very interested in what the child was trying to say to me. What was it going to say? Life? League? Whatever it was I was now wanting to see the girl after all, the child did say protect. I began to make my way to her home with a huge smile on my face.

Sarah POV

I was in a deep sleep but suddenly felt a cold chill going down my spine. It was as if someone began to watch me as I slept. With what I sensed, I got up stretch, yawn, rubbed my eyes and proceeded, to locate my glasses which were placed on the nightstand next to me. Grabbing my glasses, I put them on clearing my vision (I'd usually wear contacts but I didn't wanna go through the difficulties of putting them in). Looking around I found that there was nothing but me and the darkness. So I got up out of bed heading for the bathroom. When I reach the hall I saw my dad still up watching the news as usual but this time he was in his training clothes. It was strange that he would wear those when he's watching the news, unless it meant...
