(READ A/N NOTE BEFORE READING!
LONG TIME NO UPDATE! I know, I dropped the ball. Work and school had abducted my free time, and now I just saw that Season 2 of Mr. Robot was almost here! Crazy how quick time flies. To answer the questions, yes I accept graphics/covers/trailers and I credit/dedicate when they're given.
WARNING: Slight mentions of sex below although I'm not going into graphic detail. If you don't want to read of sex, simply stop reading as you read about the couple kissing.

_______________________She's alive.
Those were the only two words Thalia's mind focused on the rest of the night and early the next day. Shayla was Sarah. Sarah, was Shayla. There was no denying it - the tattoo was the exact same one Sarah had.
Thalia was crumbling. Her entire world for years has been an absolute lie. If Sarah didn't actually die, where the fuck has she been all these years?
Thalia had no answers. She immediately called Chloe and explained the situation, but she really only offered Thalia rather simple advice. Get a DNA test to know for certain.
How could it even be possible - she died of a drug overdose years ago. Sarah got herself mixed up with Tyrell Wellick and a world of drugs and mayhem and it was ultimately her downfall. Thalia's practically sold her soul to multiple demons for a chance to avenge her sister's death, and all this time Sarah's been alive and well while living in the city!?
It made Thalia want to scream. She wanted to grab ahold of everything in her path and whip it at the opposing wall.
Over the last decade of her life had been a lie.
Thalia wasn't going to come into work, but Gideon called her at home. He was curious as to why she hadn't arrived yet, and was also inquiring about a filed report she was supposed to have on his desk that morning.
Thalia then made up some terrible excuse of her purse being stolen and she that had to go through a tedious process to call ahead to shut off her credit cards.
It was an extremely dull lie, but, Thalia realized she sounded glum enough that Gideon didn't really ask any questions. He didn't press her to get into the office ASAP either. He merely offered her a string of apologies over the matter where he sounded as though he felt guilty for even asking where she was. The man was far too kind to the point Thalia actually found herself feeling remorseful for lying to the sweetheart.
Thalia just reassured Gideon she was coming in as soon as possible.
Why the hell she was even bothering coming in, she had no idea. If Sarah was actually alive, that changed everything. She got a job at Allsafe for absolutely nothing. Was that all her devious plot work was, all for nothing? Damn. Damn, damn, damn, damn. The mantra kept replaying in Thalia's head as she struggled to think this through.
Dedicating her entire world to destroying Tyrell Wellick now just seemed rather pointless.
Thalia washed her face, threw her hair into a low pony tail, and pulled on her boring office clothes.

By the time she was at Allsafe, Gideon seemed to know something was wrong. He kept buzzing around her, reassuring that her missing purse would soon be found, but Thalia was barely listening to her kind boss. She couldn't pay attention to his rambling story of a time he lost his wallet. Thalia just wanted to scream as loud as she could. She wanted to stomp her feet and shriek over the fact that her entire life was one fucking lie. Thalia wanted to throw a temper tantrum. She hadn't felt like that in years.
She went to work and tried to push all thoughts from her mind. She was a perfect office drone all day. She paid attention to nothing but work, her eyes barely able to leave the computer keyboard in front of her. She filled out papers over the computer, and took few phone calls from customers requesting info on locked accounts or missing passwords. Thalia was so mentally wrapped up in her own little world, she barely noticed Angela Moss until she felt her shoulder being tapped for what felt like the fifth time.
"Are you okay?" Angela asked lightly.
Thalia stared at her computer screen, not feeling okay in the slightest. What a stupid question that is, really. When someone doesn't look okay, why the fuck do you ask them if they're doing okay?
"I'm fucking awesome," Thalia stated dully, her brown eyes still stuck on her computer screen. She wasn't typing anymore, so she barely noticed she was now just sitting in her office chair, staring at her computer in frozen silence. She didn't even register using a profanity in front of Angela. There was no time to focus on that minor fact.
"Seriously, what's wrong?"
Thalia turned to stare at her. Angela seemed genuinely concerned, almost as though she wanted to help her. That alone annoyed Thalia.
"For starters, you're here," she shrugged, all sense of give-a-damn suddenly lost. She didn't give a rats ass if she sounded bitchy. Her world was suddenly one humongous lie. Her sister was never dead! Thalia was working a ridiculously fucking boring job to slowly gain vengeance on Tyrell Wellick when Sarah wasn't even dead?? Thalia wanted to throw something. Her childhood was one fucktastic disaster. All this time, Shayla's been alive and well, happily supplying drugs to nice yet fucked up guys like Elliot Alderson.
"Anything else?" Angela asked quietly, oblivious to Thalia's profanity.
Thalia gave a small roll of her shoulder. "My whole life is a fucking lie."
