Chapter Fifteen

Luke's Prov:

"I can't believe you actually invited him to go on a camping trip with you. You really are something Luke." Olivia expressed to me as we walked in the field.

"Yeah well if Danielle is going to put an effort into making things right between the two of us, then I can make that same effort. Plus besides Ben stealing the women that I am in love with, he really isn't that bad of a guy. Actually if Danielle wasn't in the picture, then I could see him and I being really good friends." I admitted to her as I kicked a rock and continued to walk.

"What did Danielle say to you anyway?"

"We basically talked about how sorry she was. And before you ask, I wasn't easy on her or anything. I actually was a little bit of a dick at the beginning of us talking." I turned to look at her and noticed that she was smiling some. "Oh you like that, don't you?" I asked with a smirk as I looked at her.

She shrugged some. "Well I mean it's not like I am against the fact that you were somewhat of a dick to her. But you know I did talk to her some, before she came to talk to you." I turned my head to look at her. I was beyond shocked at her words.

"Look at you, keeping things from me. What did you guys talk about?" I asked her as I stopped to sit on a large rock. She sat down with me and sighed some.

"You know when you first told me about her, I immediately hated her. I hated that she had hurt you so badly. That you were so damaged because of something she did. I thought she was a heartless bitch who only cared about herself. But having gotten to know her better by talking to her, I have come to realize that she is the opposite of what I had thought."

"I told you so." I said to her with a grin, she pushed me some and smiled.

"Yeah, yeah I get it. I understand what you mean now. She isn't a heartless bitch. She is just someone who has made a few mistakes. And it seems like she has really learned form her mistakes." I nodded my head at her words.

"Yeah well to bad that didn't make it so she would be mine again. But you know whatever." I said to her as I looked out across the land.

"Luke, as you new best friend. I think it is my duty to tell you that I don't think this is the final chapter for you and Danielle. I mean I am no physic or anything, but something tells me that you and her have more chapters to your story." I smiled some at her words.

"Yeah well she seems to think that you and I would make a really good couple." I started to laugh as I spoke, and so didn't Olivia. Before I knew it we were both laughing hysterically. I laughed so hard my stomach ached, and it actually hurt to breath.

"That my friend is the best thing I have heard all day." Olivia said as she clutched her stomach. "But you know I might have made her feel like I wanted to be with you or something like that. I wanted to make her jealous side come out. But instead I made her make me realize that she was a lot better of a person then I originally thought. So my plan basically backfired." She said with a groan causing me to laugh.

"Yeah well I think she still got a little jealous. I mean it may be wishful thinking, but I believe I saw a hint of jealousy in her eyes when she spoke of you, so nice work. I still can't believe she didn't catch on." I said to her as I put up my fist up for her to fist bump. She did and gave me a grin.

"Yeah the whole me being a lesbian thing really didn't come up. You know it's not usually something I just bring up in a conversation to strangers."

"Well you did with me. That must mean I am extra special." I said to her as I did a super man pose that made her laugh.

"That's because I have always known that I could trust you Luke. Remember you use to help me with all the bullies who made fun of me. You use to be my own personal super hero." I found myself smiling at the memories. It seemed like just yesterday when I met Olivia.
