Chapter Twenty Eight

Danielle's Prov:

I felt myself rocking back and forth. I tried to calm myself down, but nothing seemed to be working at the moment. All I could think was my best friend and her babies could die. How could this have happened, why did it happen. What could I have done differently. Literally a million thoughts were running through my head. I felt someone  in front of me, then I felt people all around me, and I immediately know it was my family. I could hear someone calling my name. I opened my eyes and saw Luke kneeling down in front of me. He had his hand on each side of my face and had a worried look on his face.

"Danielle, are you okay?" He asked me. I shook my head no and wrapped myself around him. Luke quickly took me into his arms and hugged me.

"I am so scared Luke, she lost so much blood." I sobbed into his shoulder."There is so much blood everywhere. They said they don't know if she is going to make it." I sobbed into his shoulder.

"What happened Danielle?" He asked me as he pulled back some.

"Tabby and I were out shopping. We had stopped to get something to eat. She went to get the food while I stayed. After a minute or so Wendy showed up. She started to talk to much shit about Tabby and I. Well Tabby came back and was really upset about what she was saying. And before I knew it she had punched Wendy in the face."

"She did what?" Greg angrily asked me.

"She punched Wendy."

"You have to be kidding me. Why the fuck would she do that? She is pregnant for god's sake. Wendy could have hurt her." Greg said as he started to pace.

"Greg I would have never let that happen. I was in front of her within seconds of her punching Wendy. She wouldn't have gotten her."

"That isn't the point Danielle. The point is she shouldn't have put herself and the baby into that kind of situation. She should know better than that." I couldn't argue with his words. He was right, she shouldn't have done what she did. But sometimes when the people we love are put down by others, we go into a defense mode.

"Let's get off the floor." Luke said as he helped me up. "What happened after that?" Luke asked once I was standing.

"After that Tabby had noticed she was bleeding. I quickly got her out of the mall and over to here."

"She just started to bleed out of no where?" Greg questioned me as he stopped pacing. I nodded my head at his words. He sighed and pulled his hair some. He looked like he wanted to ask me more questions about what happened but stopped when he saw the doctor.

"Are you all the family of a Tabby Wilson?" The doctor asked as he looked around at everyone. Gram, Auntie, Penelope, Dan, Greg, Luke and I were there. Everyone who loved and cared about Tabby was here for her.

"Yes I am her husband. And they are all her family." Greg said as he stepped closer to the doctor. The doctor nodded his head and looked down at the paper he had in his hands. I knew why Greg had said he was her husband, it was because they wouldn't release the information to him otherwise. But Luke could have gotten it for us if needed. Not that it matter considering he was going to be her husband.

"Okay well you were aware that your wife was pregnant, correct?"

"Yes I was."

"So I am going to take it you knew that she was pregnant with twins?" The doctor said to Greg. I was shocked at his words. Tabby was having twins. Wow two babibies, that only made me for scared. That meant there was another life at risk.

"What, she's having twins?" I could tell Greg was  in shock at the moment.

"You didn't know?" The doctor questioned. Greg only shock his no. "Well she is. And that is part of the reason she was bleeding so much. That and the fact that her body has been under an extreme amount of stress lately. I don't know what happened to make her body trigger like this, but whatever it was it, pushed her body over the edge. It was to much for her, and the babies to handle." I felt sick at his words. I didn't know Tabby was as stressed as she was. I mean she was a mother and wife to be, so I knew she was somewhat stressed. But not to the level where she could cause self harm.
