Chapter 2

Riley's P.O.V

What have I done she used to be my best friend how could I treat her like this?!

What was I supposed to do?

I can't believe I tried to strangle her. I could have done something else but I chose to strangle her.

What is wrong with me?!

It doesn't matter she hates you!

Just treat her like you treat everyone else.

I ran my hand through my hair as I stared into the mirror.

I'm like this because of her!

"This is her fault!" I screamed as I punched the mirror.

I slid down the wall and rested my head on my knees.

"Hello are you okay in there? I heard you scream as I walked past."

I got up and walked to the door not knowing who the unfamiliar voice was coming from.

I opened the door and saw a boy with dark brown hair and eyes.

"What do you want?" I asked while leaning against the door way.

"I just wanted to see if everything was okay I heard someone scream as I walked past..." He said as he tried to peer through the door.

"What happened to your hand?" He asked, looking concerned as he stared at my hand.

I looked down and saw that there was blood dripping from my hand.

"None of your business!" I screamed and slammed the door in his face.

"I'm not leaving until you tell me what happened to your hand." He said, sounding genuinely concerned.

I rinsed my hand off in the sink and wrapped my hand in paper towel.

I walked out of the bathroom and pushed past the boy but he grabbed my arm and spun me around.

"Look I don't know who you are, but something is obviously wrong do you want me to get the nurse or someone?" he said.

"No just leave me alone." I walked away but I heard footsteps behind me and someone grabbed my wrist.

"I know it's none of my business but I want to help you. Hi I'm Luke Ross... you are?" He held his hand out for me to shake.

"I'm Riley Matthews." I looked down and he grabbed my chin so I was facing him.

"Now lets go and get your hand cleaned up, Riley." He smiled and we walked to the nurses office.

Sorry it has taken so long for this update i have been super busy with school and it has been so stressful urghhh
